On the other hand, if she feels that a visit with a specialist is needed she doesn't hesitate to make a referral. I've never been kept waiting more than a few minutes past my scheduled appt time and have never felt like I was rushed or didn't have time to ask any questions I had. She in fact spent at least an extra 45 minutes with me at one recent visit - I was much sicker than I realized and she recognized right away that I needed to be transferred to the ER. She made all the necessary calls, and kept an eye on my condition until the paramedics arrived. She is prepared to deal with urgent problems like the one I was having but also takes the time to go thru everything health-related at least every year and makes sure that I'm up to date on my vaccines, etc. I feel very lucky to have found such a competent and empathetic medical provider.

Now after two years, and two annual visits, the last of which was virtual, my five star rating is every bit as valid. There's not a hint of pretentiousness here. She's professional, yet easy going. For instance, there's a certain diagnostic test recommended for women within my age group. For personal reasons I choose not to have one. While she expressed its importance, and urged I have one, she respected my right to choose. I respect and appreciate that. Also, being she's independent, and not part of a busy practice, with multiple physicians, you're all that matters here. There's not a labyrinth of room filled hallways where you're placed inside an exam room waiting for what feels like forever for a doctor to go "knock-knock". With Marie, it's just you. She's there for you at exam time. No long waits. I'll never again choose anyone other than a nurse practitioner as primary care provider. And as long as Marie is available. I'll not choose anyone other than her. She has her own practice, not an office full of employees. When you call she'll likely answer, not a staff member. If you leave a message she won't take long to respond. If you're forgetful and forget to call in a refill, and you run out, she's responsive. I met Dr Grover and he spent nearly 1 hour with me - uninterrupted while we discussed my symptoms and I had a thorough examination. He ordered some tests and we DID figure it out. He never once dismissed me or rushed me. Demonstrating a true concern for his patients is an attribute of Dr Grover. I had a friend also see Dr Grover regularly and he went into the ER with a health scare. Dr Grover called him on his cell phone and walked asked to talk to the ER doctor on the phone. My girlfriend bought a certificate here and I was skeptical...I mean who whitens teeth at a mall?…read moreWeirdos?The person who sold us the certificate was the District Manager and she was very nice and gave us a sweet deal we couldn't turn down. The person who whitened our teeth was Donna. Donna was everything I didn't expect. She went above and beyond to impress us with her expertise. She carefully explained everything she was doing and how it worked. The process was a little much. They shove a device in your mouth that makes you drool and lets the machine shine a bright blue light on your teeth. Also, the stuff they use to whiten your teeth is all ORGANIC?! You can swallow the chemicals it's all natural. I was impressed. After Donna finished me up I was surprised how well it worked. My teeth were whitened multiple shades. I was so impressed I come back every 3 months. I highly recommend this. Now if you are reading this and want some pointers... Bring a fully charged phone. Bring headphones to listen to music and/or reading material. Make sure you are hydrated before hand. Buy the kit they offer afterwards to PROTECT your new shine. This place is so worthy of a 5-star review! This place compares your teeth on a 'scale' of white to…read moregross, to see where you rank before your session. And then they compare it afterwards so you can see the difference. Each session is 20 minutes long and they do a few sessions in a row (make sure you bring headphones or it can get boring). If you can, ASK FOR DONNA! She's amazing! They rotate working at kiosks in the area, so try to schedule it with her when she's here. She puts in the extra time to make sure your teeth are whitened, and whitened properly. Key word is 'properly'. I've heard (and seen) that some of the other girls do a quick job, resulting in splotchy whitening. Each person gets a tube of extra deep whitening gel to use under the laser for the session, and she tries to use it all (most people don't) so you get your money's worth! She's so personable and sweet and hilarious, I just LOVE her! Depending on how long you whiten your teeth for, it can result in some sensitivity, especially on the gums. But she gives you a bell to ring in case you're a big baby and need her to fix whatever's hurting your mouth. You may end up with some white pockets on your gums because the bleach dries them out, but if you drink enough water it hydrates them again and they'll go away. The worse your teeth are, the more sessions you'll have to do (obviously) before your teeth look the way you want. Also, make sure to buy the tooth kit afterwards. It comes with trays to form to your teeth, and a syringe of gel to put in the trays at home for about 30 minutes each time. It's a nice way to keep your teeth touched up and purrty. You can buy gift certificates too (usually better because you get a good deal) and you can use them whenever you want. I love the way my teeth turned out!
