We used Luxury black car on our recent trip to NY. They were prompt, courteous and communicated well.

I tried to verify on two separate occasions the cost + tolls of my requested service and it wasn't until the driver had showed up the next day that they let me know there would be a deposit for a new rider. I brought up total cost of service multiple times as confirmation so there would be no surprises the next day and it seems like that's just how these Black Car businesses on the east coast like to run things. I set rides up for my boss so him getting in the car and the driver demanding he pay upfront $100 more than what was asked, on top of the tolls, was ridiculous and embarrassing. We've used Luxury Black Car Services for years and very rarely have had an unprofessional encounter such as this one. No wonder ppl are going to Uber Hourly, companies like this scam!!! I can't say enough good things about this car service. They're always reliable, on time and incredibly accommodating. They're also super responsive -- communication is quick, clear, and professional. I've used them many times and booked rides for my aunts who visit every 3 months traveling between NJ and NYC. One of my aunts has an autoimmune condition and needs a driver who will wear a mask and keep the windows open. The team has always done this with kindness and zero complaints. We didn't want to have to try and catch a cab to get from the hotel to the airport so we called down to the front desk and they set up the ride. He was on time and really nice. My trip to New York City did not start out as I had planned, the initial car company that I had hired to give me a ride from the airport to my hotel never showed up. I ended up taking a taxi cab however preferred to have a car for my return trip to airport. I got on yelp and started reviewing car companies and that's when I found NY Luxury Car. I decided to send them a message and see if it was possible for me to get a ride from my hotel to the airport. I spoke with the owner directly and he insured me that he would be there to pick me up. He also sent me several messages to follow up with our conversation and also to make me feel like my transportation was important. As promised, Jamie was there to pick me up and even arrived early. We had used different car services before, with varying success. This trip we did a search and picked NY Luxury Car. We arrived the day before the big blizzard. NY Lux was great with communication by email. We didn't need a credit card to reserve. Our driver Nelson texted us when we arrived and was right outside to pick us up. A great smooth ride to Manhattan. For our return to the airport we emailed NY Lux and had a very quick response for the booking. Once again we had Nelson pick us up very promptly and another great ride to LaGuardia to head home. I have to say this is the best company we have ever used.
