We selected the new countertops from samples in their showroom, then shopped on our own for the tile backsplash, all new appliances and fixtures. Westside was very flexible in allowing us to be hands-on with the process and our selections. For Clients who prefer more creative guidance, Westside offers in-house design services. I wanted to replace my aging tile countertop for my bbq island. It was a small project and other…read morecompanies were asking for at least $1-2k more. An expert from another company had recommended a remnant granite slab as my top dimensions didn't warrant a full slab. Adrian helped me with this project from beginning to end, and I'm super happy with his guidance. Some key points: 1. He had me go to their warehouse in Thousand Oaks to hand pick a remnant granite slab. This is important because you don't really know how a slab will look unless you see it in person. Michelle was at the store, and she was very friendly and patient in showing me the different slabs. 2. He sent me a pic of where they were planning to cut, and I was able to ask him to move the template by about a foot to maximize the areas that I wanted to keep. 3. He worked with me with the pricing so that it was competitive with another quote from a lesser know company. This included demo, disconnecting and reconnecting bbq from a licensed plumber, and also the entire fabrication and install process. Gustavo and his partner did an excellent job with demo and installation. This all took two weeks which I was happy with. Of note, Luxiomer sells the countertops, but their sister company Renovva Stone Master is in charge of fabrication while iCal construction installs. They are under one owner, but technically three different companies.

In late August I found the BEST cabinet designer after 2 months of searching. He lives in Camarillo. zip code 93012 Call Daniel at Clean Edge Cabinetry. You won't be sorry. He uses 5 different companies depends on your taste and needs, he picks the company suits your budget. He came over to my house 2-3 times to make sure I didn't have any changes before he sent the order. His price was almost the same with 2 other places I had quotes from. Therefore I didn't pick him because of better price. I chose him because of his personal service he offers. He delivered my cabinets after only 2 weeks, all assembled by himself. No charge for delivery. Lowe's would charge me $475. and would have taken 5 weeks. I had 4 cabinets with glass. Since the glass panels do not come from the cabinet company, he took 4 door panels to the glass shop and brought them back the next day and installed the door back again. No charge either! He came before completion of remodeling work to make sure that his product was installed correctly with crown. Plus he came again to video tape each door to make sure the automatic closing door closes without making any sound. He is professional, so caring and responsible. He is on time at each visit.
