She was able to change her clients around and accommodate my party. Crystal got back to me quickly about the schedule and what we would need to do prior to her arriving at our place. The day of the event, she arrived on time and got started right away. From start to finish, she was there for 4.5 hrs, and completed 5 services. The entire time, she was kind, attentive, and did a wonderful job. I am happy I was able to book Crystal for our event. I highly recommend her for your next event.

The team was super flexible and easy to work with throughout all the changes. I had my trial with a different artist, she was amazing, but a few days before the wedding she went into labor! Suzy made me look and feel beautiful with the soft, natural look I wanted. Everything held up perfectly all day. She even did a last-minute makeup session for my MIL without hesitation, which we really appreciated! Highly recommend Blush and Bang--Suzy is the best!

I started coming to this salon randomly because it's right down the street from my house, and I've…read moreseen Abel, Katie, Madeline, and Heather for my hair. Today was the first time I've ever been charged extra for a "curl/flat iron," even though my hair wasn't curled or flat ironed at all. The haircut itself was nice, but the blow-dry was honestly really bad--it looked like I tried to do it myself and failed. I didn't say anything in the salon, but when I got home, my friends pointed out how bad it looked, which made me realize I wasn't overreacting. Overall, I do like this salon, especially for walk-ins. If I had to rank the stylists I've been to: Madeline is definitely #1--she did an amazing job with both the cut and styling, and there were no random extra charges. Abel also did a great job with my highlights. Katie and Heather would be tied. They're both very nice, but Katie cut my hair noticeably uneven--I even had coworkers telling me not to go back to her, which is why I stopped coming to the salon for a while. Heather did a good job with the haircut itself, but the styling was not good. I wouldn't have minded as much since I planned to redo my hair at home anyway, but being charged extra for styling that didn't turn out well is frustrating. I was actually going to ask to skip the blow-dry, but she said she needed to dry it to see how it laid and refine the cut. If it had turned out good, I wouldn't have minded the upcharge--but paying extra for something that looked this bad is really disappointing. And the extra charge wasn't explained it almost seemed like she was trying to sneak it in as she whispered to the receptionist to help her add the charge. If I return l be sure to only schedule my appointments with Madeline (:

Taryn no-call no-showed me on the day of my wedding. I am…read moreabsolutely perplexed by this situation. I had a trial with Taryn about 3 weeks prior to the day of the wedding. For the trial, I went to her house, paid her cash, and thought I had a great experience. Upon leaving the trial, we confirmed date and time of the event and I had no worries. Day of I still hadn't heard from her 10 minutes prior to when I was expecting her. I decided to text her the room number we were getting ready in but heard no response. I waited 10 more minutes, then decided to call her. My call was ignored after two and a half to three rings, twice. At this point, I caught the drift, and wasn't going to waste any more time waiting around. So I did my own makeup even though I didn't have much packed (because I was counting on her showing up.) Bottom line, Taryn, this was so unprofessional and just mean. It would have looked so much better on your part and I would have way less animosity if you had just called me or texted me and owned up to the fact that you either double booked yourself or forgot. S*** happens, but then you clean it up. Wasted my time and money. I hope you learn from this because it's not looking good miss girl. *Pics of email convo 1 day and so on after our trial July 1st*
