What can I say about this place? The atmosphere is amazing, I've been comming here now for 5years now and I wouldn't recommend any other place! I would like to give my overall opinion on Vanidosa studio. I gave them a call on Friday, I left my telephone number on their answering machine inquiring how much, or if they could fit me in for eyelash replacement. I never got a return phone call at all so,... My review is as follows, I will not go to this place. Their customer service skills need training for reciprocating; and possibly get education on serving the community at large in returning calls to inform the potential client if they are able to get serviced or not! With the times as they are, owners of salons and other places need to be on point and retain customers! Vanidosa Beauty Studio is right off of Vineyard, which is a busy street, but the street it is actually located on is not crowded or busy. The plaza is quiet & always has plenty of parking. The beauty studio is on the second floor. Do not let the simple exterior of the plaza or building fool you, the studio is beautiful, glamorous & chic. The vanities & side tables are custom built & give you the feeling that one is walking through a giant walk-in closet or changing room. They are fully equipped with the tools & technology to perform the best spa services you'll ever receive. The whole studio is painted a beautiful, soft grey which is relaxing & calming. There is a nice sitting/reception room as you enter with two chairs, a table & ottoman. There is a board with information on weekly specials. Their first treatment room is directly behind the reception room & is beautifully enclosed with sheers & curtains for privacy. There are also 2 chairs so clients can place their clothes & belongings on them. A beautiful glass water dispenser is filled with healing spa water, to the right as you enter the first treatment room. It's tastefully decorated with a mixture of Parisian flare & shabby chic. The studio & its estheticians are by appointment only, but they do offer "Walk-In Wednesdays" for those spontaneous spa-doers, where a few of the Estheticians will be there during the peak hours. Check out "Facial Fridays" for those of you who want a great deal for a facial. I personally love spas, beauty studios & massage studios because taking care of ones self is a priority to me. I also used to work as a receptionist & cashier at one of the biggest spas in Santa Barbara. I saw first hand the benefits to your skin but also to your over all well being. Most people do not realize this, but some of us have skin conditions due to certain medical ailments, imbalances & disorder, that can be diagnosed by a licensed Esthetician, such as the ladies working here. I am receiving a facial every week for 8 weeks to clear my skin, improve the texture, and soften the appearances of any lines or dark spots & scarring. It has only been 3 weeks & the difference is INCREDIBLE! I am excited to see where my skin will be by the end of the 8 weeks! I know that facials cost more money than anyone wants to pay, but with results this fast, I should have done this sooner! I am using a lot less foundation or face make-up because my skin looks better than it has in years, thus saving me more money in the long run & making me appear younger than my 35 years! read more

I've waited for my touch up healed 6th week to see the final result before I made this review. Touch up appointment is very crucial because it will be the long term result, and Claudia WAS NOT ABLE to fulfill and satisfy this. Aside from the $400 cash payment I was charged additional $100 for old color correction. After the first session, Claudia said that she can change my brow color on the touch up appointment specifically she said brown shade because she just made it light when it will be healed. On the day of the touch up when I told her a want it more brown, she made an excuse that she can't because there are lot of colors on my skin (she didn't say that on the first session; even charged me for correction). Now that I'm requesting for her to see it because I'm not satisfied with the color (blackish color). It sounds like she is not willing to do it. To add that the shape is also uneven (I texted it to her) I was told that it will be taken of on the touch up, still it's not fixed. I'm not satisfied with her work! read more

My experience was terrible. Claudia tattooed on what appeared to be bushy, un-plucked eyebrows, with hairs sticking way outside of the shape of the eyebrow. Rather than listen to my dissatisfaction, Claudia actually argued with me that eyebrows were supposed to look that way. She finally erased some hairs and agreed to re-tattoo them in 8 weeks. Before the next appointment, I received notification that it would cost me $50. When I expressed how I was told it would be included due to the fact that Claudia had rushed through the procedure, I was told to go find someone else to fix it, and my appointment was canceled and I was deleted as a client. On top of that, the hairs never got fully erased! Now I literally cannot pluck my eyebrows. read more
