This is my only 2nd time at this salon and I had a young man for my 1st manicure and he did a FANTASTIC JOB!!
This time I had a woman. The technician SEEMED friendly but then when she started filing my nails and she was very ROUGH and DELIBERATE!!
My 1st mistake was I didn't wear my reading glasses. And I didn't notice the how awful my nails looked until I left and arrived at a function I attended that afternoon. The second was not to speak up.
Although I wasn't injured (meaning no bleeding), after she painted my nails, she left my nails peppered with tiny air bubbles which FELT ROUGH and NOT SMOOTH in appearance!! NOT professionally done! A 3rd grader could've done a better job!!
Then she ABRUPTLY said to "move over" because she had another client. No problem. Then using a very STERN VOICE, she instructed me to wait in the waiting area but another technician VERY KINDLY said I could sit at the chair next to the client to dry my nails. I was then instructed to wait 10 min and I could leave. I was self timing myself and before the 10 min was up, again, she STERNLY says to "go, it's 10 min!!"
WOW!! What a very unwelcoming experience!! The mani was $30 and she did not deserve the 20% tip I gave her!! Yep...not planning to return!
