I have been a client for years, though the cuts are often rushed (15,20 minutes) and cost over $50. Recently, I was charged an additional $16 because she touched up the blow dry using a flat iron. I did not request this and was not informed that this additional effort would cost almost another $20! read more

Love this salon! Everyone that works here is super friendly and welcoming. Customer service is top notch! Located in downtown Bismarck, the atmosphere is trendy and urban without coming off as pretentious. Marissa cut and colored my hair about a month ago and did a fantastic job! She listened to my input but also provided me with suggestions individualized to my hair type. While not cheap, it was also more affordable than most salons I've been to, and the cost was definitely worth the amazing result! I also had my hair done with a wedding party last weekend. It was so much fun getting ready with everyone in the salon, and they let us bring mimosas, which was a nice touch. Sydney did my hair, and she did an excellent job. The style looked amazing and lasted all day. I didn't get my makeup done, but the girls that did were pleased with the result. Overall, I'd recommend this salon to anyone. I'll definitely be back to have my hair done, and I'm eager to try the other services they offer as well! read more

I decided to make an appointment after looking for a new stylist. Katie was awesome!! The experience was great. I came in and was offered a drink while I waited. Katie started out asking about my preferences and immediately translated my ramblings into what I really wanted. One relaxing hour later, I was ready to go. Not happy with the service I got, went in for a color correction and the girl that worked with me seemed to be very new(maybe?) and inexperienced, not confident in what she was doing. I left with my hair exactly the same as when I came in. Will not go back and will not recommend. read more

I had a Brazilian wax and absolutely loved the results! Audrey Carpenter did an amazing job at making me comfortable and left no wax or hair behind. She used a mix of hard and soft wax to get the most hair with the least pain! The whole service was $90 with a tip, which was a little high since the room was dingy, with one wall only being a curtain, and Audrey had to bring in her phone to play music for background noise (anything to distract you during a wax is welcomed) Additionally, the salon was hard to find, yet the reception area was nice. I was offered a water and welcomed as soon as I found it, so I guess it was worth the hunt. Overall very happy with results! read more

New to the area went to several salons the last one was a total disaster. I hated to even walk out the door without a hat on and big sun glasses so no one could see me. So after that experience I did my research and found this salon online then I read each stylist Bio. I decided to go with Annie, I called the person was very nice on the phone. I got a text confirming my appointment really impressed. I walked inside the place is beautiful very art déco loved it. The front desk lady was very polite and knows what customer service is about. She right back to let Annie know I had arrived. Of course I have been having panic attacks all day because I am letting a stylist touch my hair with scissors that I know nothing about other than what I have read online. Annie comes to greet me with a beautiful smile dressed like she came outta some NY salon very nice. She made me feel like she truly cared about me and what I wanted done to my hair. My hair is really curly so my first request was to ask if she would cut it dry, then I showed her the picture of the hair style. She said of course not a problem ...all I can say is that she is AMAZING!!!! she cut my hair perfect not only that she styled it exactly like I wanted it. She is the best stylist I have found in this town no one else will not touch my hair other than her. Also while she was doing my hair I watched the other stylist at work and all of them had happy customers. I decided to try here b/c of a review I read on Yelp. I ended up going with Carlie b/c the woman I originally booked with left. Carlie did an amazing job with my hair. I have super thick, long and curly hair. She put some great layers in and added some side bangs. She also did a great job at thinning it. I booked her again next time I needed a cut and I got an eyebrow wax. She did a very detailed job on my eyebrows, which they needed bad. They looked great! I was shocked that she remembered me...it had been a while since I had been in. Second time around she did another great job on my hair. The salon is very clean and everyone was really nice. They also offer a beverage when you show up, which I thought was really nice. I will continue to go here anytime I need anything! I also thought the prices were really good! I had been going to JZ trend just b/c they are cheap and I normally need just a trim but I think the prices here are comparable for better work. read more

I booked for a strip lashes with Jessica for a Ball on April 16 at 10:00. When I called to book a week before they told me that they have lashes so not to worry. When I got there they only had 2 boxes of lashes to choose from. Luckily I brought my own because I had the sense that they may not have exactly what I want. When she was done with both eyes I told her that the right side was lower. Well she adjusted it without peeling it off to make it symmetrical. When I showed my husband that was waiting in the lobby...he saw exactly the same thing. We showed it to her and she just looked at it and didn't even offer to fix it. She thinks it was OK. We told her to peel it off and re-apply it again. We even told her that we can pay her again just to get it right. Her response "I don't have time now. My next client is here." We told her we can wait until she was done with her current client. Then she said to come back at 2pm (4 hours later). What a joke...it only took her 8 minutes to apply both lashes and my appointment should have been 30 min. long. Honestly, their customer service is horrible. I've gone to many salon's before and no one ever made me feel like I was an inconvenience. I will never go back there again. I would think twice if I were you! read more
