The hookah: I tried double apple flavor, it's cool I liked it. It is fresh and smooth, the pipe is clean and doesn't have the usual sand-like remaining that come out when you inhale. The only thing that I didn't like about it is the coal on the head of the hookah. They use the chemical coal instead of the natural wood-coal, I think this will lessen the flavor. That's why I didn't give it five stars. The place: the place here is fantastic, and every sitting spot has its own tv with a remote control which gives you freedom to watch whatever you like. They don't have hot drinks like tea or coffee which usually goes with the hookah atmosphere. read more

If you want to stay in business DONT SMOKE YOU'RE OWN PRODUCT AND IGNORE CUSTOMERS! This place will be out of business in a year or less. If I could rate 0 stars I would. The #1 hookah lounge I find myself at every single time I'm in town. My friends and family love coming here so I always stop by to smoke or get heads to go. Atmosphere is nice. Seating is comfortable. TV's are everywhere. Lots of drink and snack options. The music playing is always great, sometimes too loud, but always a good playlist. The reason why I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the charcoal situation. The entire time this trip I was getting a teeny bit frustrated because the coals were not getting passed out in a timely manner. I never have had this issue in previous trips here, until this May. Came to Lux Hookah Lounge the very first time around midnight on a Friday night. It was also the first time I had ever come to an actual hookah lounge and I loved it. The couches are super comfortable. The staff was friendly to us. They carry Haze brand shisha. Which I didn't mind either way. When I was there they played rap music primarily, which is my favorite. As my friend was walking to the bathroom the group of "workers" or people hanging out in the back were talking about "go help the white table" in Chaldean.. not knowing my friend speaks Chaldean. let me just start by saying if I could give this place zero stars, I would. the ambiance is terrible. It's like walking into your friends older brothers basement where bad acid trips happen. the staff is so rude and act like you giving them business is inconveniencing them. god forbid i took a picture with flash and i had some 5'5" 20 year old wearing jeans that were too tight come up to me and my friends and id all of us. it's just simply not a chill environment, and the staff acts like they are better then you. not to mention no one came to check on the coal. you are better off taking your business to city and east where the setup and environment makes much more sense and you know you'll get much better service. read more

I'm visiting here from Los Angeles where I hangout at hookah lounges. This place got a good party vibe. Here on a thur night and it's surprisingly packed, the vibe is cool. There hookah prices are very good especially compared to Los Angeles. A lot of tv's and good music but not to loud so you can hear the people your with. They played Tekashi 69 and they supported him. I do not agree with that, that man is a horrible human, actually he is not human he is a demon. He should not even exist in the music industry. Went there to watch the 3 rd period of the red wings game and they didn't even have the channel. Not good . Def needs a cable update .
