If you really enforce "strict 21+," you should've said no upfront, not agreed in the moment and then use it against us later. You also did say you used to allow 18+ but like we said well can she just use the restroom and you agreed 2. Hookah Policy Contradiction: You claimed we tried to "smoke inside against policy." The whole point of a hookah lounge is to smoke hookah. What you actually told us was that we couldn't smoke in the lounge at all -- meanwhile, other guests were allowed to stay until 2 AM smoking after close. That's favoritism, plain and simple. 3. Music & Dancing: You had hype music playing. Naturally, some of us danced near our own table. The lounge was nearly empty, nobody complained, and it wasn't disruptive. To exaggerate this into "loud and disorderly" is dishonest and plays into stereotypes. 4. "Arrived Intoxicated" Claim: Two guests weren't drinking at all. The three of us who were of age had a few drinks, still under the legal driving limit in Michigan, and were fully functioning. To twist that into "arrived intoxicated" is an unfair stretch. 5. Mess Accusation: We didn't leave a mess inside or outside. If you want to accuse us of that, at least say what the "mess" supposedly was. 6. Your Conduct: Your approach was not polite. Telling us sarcastically, "thanks for the Yelp review, now leave in five minutes or else" is not professional. And to be clear, I'm not the only one -- since posting my review, people have personally reached out to me with their own bad experiences including a former employee who said working with them was a nightmare, at this location, which tells me this isn't an isolated incident. Better than the generic ones in the east coast. Unfortunately, because of the laws in Michigan there are no food for sale here, only snacks and water/sodas. The great thing is they allow you to bring in whatever food you want. They do have tables by your chairs for easy dining. The lounge chairs are mostly leather sofa couches, and very comfortable. Several small & big TV's make it a great experience especially for sporting events. The staff come around frequently to change your charcoal without you asking. You can come here to smoke hookah, watch a game, do some homework, chill with friends, have a nice date, bring your laptop and do your thing. They have outlets for you to charge your equipments. No one bothers you, and you can spend hours chillin here.

After I made my purchase with a great budtender at the Bowdega, whom walked me through the sales and the free pre roll for enrolling in their points program. Love it...the points buy pot! You don't get that anywhere else that I know of. Well worth joining and buying from the Bowdega Cannabis Shop Next to Burn 1 Lounge. There was a lovely gal tending the front desk at the Burn 1 Lounge and she helped me get through customs lol. It was a great experience...I will definitely go there again and I highly recommend it. Oh btw, if you buy your stuff at the Bowdega between 12pm and 12am and you can't stay...you can come back to the Burn 1 lounge later that day! Just keep your receipt to show the Burn 1 attendant...but it has to be the day you bought it. I didn't know that. That was shared by the front desk attendant.
