I asked for long layers and trusted his guidance. He ended up cutting about 5 inches, but the final result feels uneven and poorly blended--the layers are choppy and difficult to style. I reached out afterward to see if it might be a styling issue on my end, but was told it was because I "didn't let him cut enough," which didn't make sense given how much length was already removed. For $175, I expected a more polished result and a more helpful response. I'm disappointed and won't be returning.

Salon cancelled my appointment, then says they can't Venmo me back my $50 deposit as only the owner has the account. Directed to call salon to process a credit card refund. Don't we all love the risk of giving businesses our credit card details over the phone? All this effort to have zero services executed. What a joke. Stay away.

I needed root coverage on white hair with a Schwarzkopf color. Was told ,"The more upscale salons were farther away." A couple of business owners recommended Jaimee , but not the salon. It was so close that I tried it anyway. The atmosphere in The Fringe Salon was how it had been described, all business and unfriendly. The woman attending the desk was too absorbed in her paperwork to even look up at someone coming in, and when she did, it was without a smile or greeting. When I took a seat , no one asked me for whom I was waiting, nor offered me a bottle of water. Jaimee was worth it. She was a good listener and worked with me on the color and a brand she was not familiar with. I was delighted to find she was not one of those, "We only use these brands here." She was polite and kind , willing to learn what it took to help and please a client. She studied , showed me the product , did not substitute. And, she offered me water. I now have happy hair.
