I had such a fantastic experience with Shawna at LUX Artistry Collective! I was also immediately impressed with my new all over tone, highlights and bright baby lights! I wanted to GIVE myself couple of weeks before writing a review so that I could see how my naturally dark, curly hair handled the processing, etc.
I am here to say, Shawna KNOWS what she is doing! Here is the thing, I had a couple consultations at other salons who told me similar things (without even sitting in their chairs OR touching my hair) and that was, blonding me up a bit on top wasn't possible.
I met Shawna as a customer at my restaurant and she was so hip and straightforward and pretty, with great hair. Exactly what I like in a hair artist! She took me aside when I had a few moments, checked on my locks,
said she felt confident that she could get me where I wanted to be & encouraged me to come see her.
So I did just that!
I have to tell you, I recently became highly allergic to hair dye, and can no longer have my deep milk chocolate and chestnut locks. AND I am almost 50% gray, at 40 Plus it's Covid, things had just started opening back up and i had give myself..... a covid cut and color AT HOME! Eek! Not ideal for me. For anyone lol! I pretty much lived in a pony tail because I looked like a poor homeless kitty frown down the road, you know, the Calico kind? Ha ha!!
Shawna made me look good, feel good, gave good conversation and recommendations too. The salon is clean and fresh, easily accessible and has some unique products that I hadn't used prior.
I'm glad Shawna has been in the industry long enough to know how to care for my hair, plus passionate & fresh enough to keep looking at the latest trends!
