I recently quit my job there because the owner Tawny gave one of the dogs in her boarding care a medication called Trazadone, which is an SSRI/anxiety medication. It belonged to another boarded dog and when confronted about it, she said she has been in rescue and pet care for multiple years and always has plenty on hand, and that she had consent from the dogs owner because he "forgot" to send in the medication, which can only come from a prescription. She was not aware that I got the dogs owners information and contacted him myself to see if this was true, I found out from the dogs owners information that it was in fact NOT true. Tawny lied and said she got consent from the owner (she did not) and that she gave him trazadone that she had on hand (this was also not true, I saw her preparing the meds/food and she did in fact, take it from the other boarded dogs medication bottle. Another disclosure: the Oxford kennel was recently bought by tawny at the beginning of this year i believe, and is being operated by her. She also operates her own "rescue" called Tails of Hope and claims it's out of Ross, Ohio. She does weekly events at the Blue Ash Petsmart where she brings these rescue dogs and tries to find them homes, which is a noble cause, but giving a dog a prescribed medication that doesn't belong to it, is not ok.

AVOID!!! If you care for your dogs at all (or for your wallet) go anywhere else! I've used them…read moremultiple times and they are going downhill FAST. The level of care is not what it once was and frankly once you see the facilities you will see how unreasonable their costs are. What is the money going to?? The porta potties out front? Unsure if there is change in ownership or if the owner fell on hard times but it is CLEAR you need to save your money and go somewhere if you care for your pets

They did everything we asked exactly as we asked for it to be done, took great care to make sure they were on the same exact schedule we have them on when we are home, and she took the time to learn all the small details and do them correctly.
