She was able to get most of the hair from the front but left a couple of patches in my inner thighs. I also didn't like the fact that she questioned me being a student and did not seem like she wanted to apply the first time customer promo. Overall I'd give them a 5/10, may update review since I wasn't able to try the sugaring that day and was told my next waxing would be discounted.

I would not recommend this wax place solely for that reason. managing the membership is a PAIN, I was not able to get set up in the app and had to call to manage my membership. The phone lines run busy and when you finally get to someone it's as if they don't want to talk to you. I was requesting a cancellation of the service due to not living in the area anymore, I was told they would cancel my appointment, suspend my membership for 3 months and send me the cancellation email. I was reassured that I wouldn't be charged and that the suspension would cover the 1 month it takes to actually cancel the membership. not only did I not receive any information regarding the suspension or cancellation via email I was charged again a week later for another month. this is very frustrating to me because it was so easy for them to get me all the information QUICKLY to sign up for the membership but now that I need to manage it they are very slothful in that. again the lady who did my wax was great and I hope soon she branches out and gets her own wax spot. As far as front desk goes better training may be needed in membership management and customer request follow through.

I had been going to LOTS of laser hair removal places over the last few years. I rarely ever got…read morethe same technician more than once (seemed more like part-timers with a high turnover rate) and my results had seemed to slow more and more. After my last place went out of business, I started my search again and found Mary Beth's Laser Affair. The price scared me a bit at first, because it was much higher than I was used to but I was also obviously "getting what I paid for" with the other places. From the first phone call, I could tell she was very knowledgeable about all things laser hair removal, explaining the differences between different types of lasers and why I wasn't getting the results I wanted and happy to answer any and all questions I had. You can tell she really loves what she does and I hadn't found that in any of the other people I had tried, plus I love that it's her every time, instead of just another part-time technician that seemed to not even be still working at other places I tried when it was time for my next appointment. I've already noticed MUCH better results with large and even areas going way better than any of my other appointments at this point, so I'm confident I'm going to finally be getting the results I've been wanting! I can't believe I wasted so much money at all the other places for so long, when I could have gotten better results in less visits AND less overall cost too, lesson learned! Looking forward to my next visit and thanks again!

Booking online was super easy. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff were warm and inviting. My waxing specialist greeted me right away to prep the room. She was kind, knowledgeable, and made me feel totally at ease. She asked about my previous experiences and consistently checked on the wax temperature and my comfort level. She even noticed I was sweating and immediately turned on a fan, which was a huge relief! I really enjoyed her company throughout the appointment. She also gave excellent, clear aftercare advice, detailing product usage and when to begin. What I appreciated most was her approach to a pre-pay package; it felt like a genuine recommendation to save money, not a pushy upsell. I ended up buying a skin treatment and upgraded to the package because it was truly a fantastic deal.

I wasn't sure who to choose for my eyebrow threading so I let the front desk lady guide me to the next available person. Big mistake! I advised the person to please don't make my eyebrows too thin and just give me an arch. Needless to say it wasn't a good experience. What usually takes 5 min for both eyebrows took 15. At that point I already knew I was not going to like the results. Unfortunately I was correct. She completely botched my eyebrows.
