I would NOT recommend this establishment. The pricing is quite high relative to the quality of service provided. I received both a manicure and pedicure, and within less than a week, the gel polish began to peel off as if it were a sticker. I've been coming to Casablanca nail bar for a total of 5 years. Including after management change (for the better)! I've learned calling ahead for an appointment is the most efficient way to be seated. I love when either Lynn or Christine work on my nails. I never have to double check them and both ladies are so nice! I've walked in with super bad broken nails and they have been able to fix them! Called when they opened in the morning looking for an appointment for 2 pedicures. Was pretty flexible as to day and time. Person who answered said come in today at 4. I reminded her it was for two, and she said perfect. Showed up a 5 minutes before 4. Was told to go and sit in the chairs and wait. 15 minutes later someone comes over and starts my daughter's pedicure. I'm still waiting. My daughter's pedicure gets finished and I'm still waiting. In a couple minutes person #1 comes over to start filling the tub with water. Another 5 minute waiting and person #2 comes over to remove current polish. She gets up and leave and I wait another 10 minutes before person #3 comes over and finishes the pedicure. All in all, this took 1.5 hours for two pedicures. The cashier apologized for the wait, there was no financial consideration for the wait time and shifting 3 (4 if you count the person who did my daughter's pedicure) different people through an appointment. I feel like if you can't handle 2 pedicures at once, don't agree to the appointment. Probably need to find a new salon. read more

I had to finally break up with Casa Blanca today. I will be sad to see Tina go as she is the sweetest and does my eyebrows well. I will also miss Laura, Kelly's and Yen's pedicures. I will not miss, however, Lee and his too thick SNS, being asked to wait at a spa chair although nobody is ready, the unreasonable "take off gel" price they charge for drilling off previous gel (that they did), gel chipping after 3 days, the crappy customer service, The toe fungus.The overpriced pedicures ($35 basic pedi+ $20 for "take off gel" + $8 French tip). I've been coming to CB since around the time they first opened up. I usually get the Deluxe pedi (which includes paraffin and callous remover). For whatever reason, Sandy decides she doesn't want to give a full pedicure. When I mention she forgot the callous removal, she gets irritated and starts to roughly scrub the paste on my legs and feet. Then she proceeds to rinse with COLD water. When I brought it to her attention again, she had a problem and walked away. But this time. I'm done. I'm tired of overpaying for bad customer service. Today was the last straw for me. They can find someone else to tip them big for the very basic nails they do. Still wouldn't recommend in 2024. They need to change staff and customer service options. But keep Laura. read more

I went in for a mani/pedi yesterday. It has been less than 24 hours and my mani is chipping away. I don't use colors on my fingernails and requested clear. I believe they only used a base coat. They charge an illegal surcharge fee when using a debit card. It's $1.50 but it's still illegal to charge the fee. Because of this, they advise you to use their ATM and tell you that it has no fee which is a lie. You'll get a fee from your bank and an additional $3-$6 fee from their ATM which gives them even more money then if you had just paid the illegal surcharge. Their nails are nice but if you would like to come here, please get cash from your own bank beforehand instead of paying their illegal fees. I will be reporting them. read more

The reviews for Casa Blanca weren't up to what I would normally consider for anything but it's around the corner and I go to the Publix so decided to give them a try. Not sure how people have had such bad experiences here. I was greeted right away and she went to work soaking my SNS for a new color. I used to come to Casa Blanca all the time, loved it, then moved to South Charlotte. I recently moved back to North Charlotte and returned as a customer. The shop is beautiful and the techs are nice. Some of the same faces are still here which I love 5 years later. I don't remember getting manicures - most pedicures and those are hard to mess up. I highly recommend them for that. For manicures, gel, SNS or anything of the sort, I'm not the best person to get that info from - but it seems there is a bit of shoddy work in the reviews. They are also inconsistent about who they offer beverages too and the types of beverages they offer. I'm definitely shopping around for a better overall experience because, when I spend money on nail and spa services, I want to feel pampered. But they are ok. Just left after visiting for the first time. Lynn did my nails and she was very mean. She was not helpful in assisting me with picking out a color and it was like she was annoyed by me for no reason. She even yelled to just puck out a color. I even asked if she was having a bad day because she kept walking away and she said no. The lady with the tattoo on her neck had wonderful interactions with her customer and Lynn could learn a lot from her on good customer service skills. I must say, I was raised by blue collar workers so I understand and respect the hard work, determination and dedication. And I also know how challenging it can be to work in the service industry so I strive to treat everyone with kindness and respect the same as I'd would want a family member to be treated. First time I'd gone was during the holiday season, Lee did my SNS powder dip and someone else did my pedicure and I was very happy with both. The experience was great and therefore I tipped accordingly. Unfortunately I need to share a not so good second experience. Today was my second time going to Casa Blanca and will be my last. A young lady Christine did my powder dip was rude, disrespectful and condescending she provided a horrible customer service experience. I told her of my pinched nerve and she continued to pull and move my hand in a way that was hurtful and plain rude and I gave her a look over my mask and she proceeded to say that she forgot I told her but also thought I forgot that I should not move. She wanted me to pay before my service was done, which I never had to do before. I don't typically pay until my entire service is complete regardless of the service. Needless to say Christine did not get a tip. I don't reward bad behavior or horrible customer service! read more

I really want to give them 5 stars, but the quality of skills are so inconsistent between techs it's difficult to. I have been here at least 5 times for dip nails, and out of those times, I've had 3 experiences where I didn't think the service was worth it. Once I was cut up so badly, but my nails came out so good it was almost worth it. The 2nd time I agreed for a jewel on my nail, and so not worth it. The gel polish placed over it was so chunky, it looked awful. My hair also kept getting stuck to it. And from my most recent service I opted for ombré nails. The nail tech talked into doing an ombré instead of regular dip nails with an accent nail. I like subtle and neutral, and when he told me it would look really good and subtle I was in. When it was all done, the ombré almost non existent. Also, the polish is obviously cracking underneath. My thumb has a trapped hair underneath, and when I told him about it he brushed it off like it would go away once it was dried, and walked away. He was super nice, and there are nail techs there that are excellent, but just beware. This ombré is not worth the price. I should've gone with my original polish with accent nail read more

I've been here several times for pedicures and they are literally the best pedicure experiences I've ever had. however today when I went in I was charged an additional $20 for removing my gel polish. A heads up would have been nice. I wish I had read KTs review below before going in today because while I thoroughly enjoy the pedicure experience I don't want to pay $20 to have somebody remove nail polish. Also I've had them put on 2 full acrylic sets. I will never have them do another one- both times my nails were lumpy, thick, file job was uneven, they just looked a mess. so I refused to go back and have them mess with my hands but the pedicure is usually really good. Casa Blanca is a great nail salon but this is second time they have lost track of who needed what services. My daughter requested a manicure and was overlooked up until they were closing and the nail technicians were leaving. Other than me keeping up with who was going to complete her services the staff was great and facility was clean. Came in on a Tuesday afternoon and it was pretty slow. Right away I was greeted and prompted to check in. I opted for an acrylic full set and pedicure. While getting my pedicure by Lisa, Christine started working on my nails. I loved this because it was my birthday and I was pressed for time. Christine was a little quiet at first. Lisa was very friendly and positive. After my toes were done I went to Christine's station to finish my nails. She opened up and we began chatting. She does a great job with nails and Lisa was awesome on my toes. This salon has a great scene it's peaceful and styled sophisticated. There are wine water and soda options available as well. I would recommend coming in and seeing Lisa and Christine. Next time I will go with the gel option. I plan on returning in a couple of weeks. read more

Do not come here for acrylic nails but get the pedicure! While this place is new, technique is lacking. I got a full set of acrylic nails with gel polish and a pedicure with gel polish. They have a ton of polish options. Read the signs because some categories of polish cost more than others. My acrylic nails just didn't look that good. The polish was uneven, the shape was uneven, some acrylic nails were placed crooked, and the technique was just something I haven't seen before. Needless to say, the polish didn't stay on long and a usual 3 week run was cut in half. The pedicure was the best damn basic pedicure that I have EVER received. I mean really, I will NEVER return for a manicure or a fill-in but this may be my pedicure spot. It was long but not too long and very soothing and sanitary. Just note that they charge an extra $15 just for the gel polish which I find to be pretty ridiculous compared to other salons in the neighborhood. I will say that they allowed a lot of people to come in late (within 30 minutes of closure) and not be turned away. I left right at closing and there was still one client still there which is great for when one has a nail emergency. Overall, this visit wasn't horrible but for $80 (with 10% off when I went for opening special) due to the ridiculous charge up for gel polish, the polish needs to be applied properly and not chip within a week. read more

Horrible! Went there on a Sunday because our normal nail salon was closed. My daughter had acrylics put on by salon we normally go to the day prior. She realized they were too long so wanted to hit them cut down. Went to casablanca. Man in front t quickly said he could do. While waiting I decide to get a sns for my nails. He quickly did mine then the cut down on my daughter. He was filing the sides in too much making her nails to pointy. She quickly tried to correct him and he get doing it the way he wanted to. Then finally said she didn't have to pay. I jumped in nicely and said we don't care about having to pay we just want the service done correctly. He was immediately agitated and said he did not want to know how she wanted it and did not want to correct. SUPER RUDE! I guess her $15 cut down was not worth his time since he was cattle calling and trying to rotate other customers around. Never again and if you want mediocre and rude work then go for it. read more
