We had a truly great experience at this Lush store. We have been to them all over the US and even in other countries. We might have a slight Lush addiction. The highlight was getting help from a person named Lauren who was knowledgeable, engaging, and full of tips about products and even some ideas about what else we might get up to London we are here. They helped us create a nice little collection of products to use while traveling and some to take home. Guys, I really don't know how else to describe this skincare wonderland except to say that it's like a candy shop... for your skin. Seriously, everything looks good enough to eat. I can't tell you how many times I almost put a delicious-looking piece of soap into my mouth. All joking aside, it's a very lively place to get ALL of your skincare needs- from facial masks, cleansers, scrubs, etc., to bath balls & body soaps- while not breaking the bank and giving to a company that's pro-planet and anti-animal-testing. The guys and gals who work here are all amazingly sweet and happy to help with any questions you may have. They'll even wash your skin for you to show you how delicious these products feel on your skin. Which reminds me, there's a tester for just about everything, so go crazy! Three floors of paradise!! First off I gotta say the store has more products than any other and that's amazing of course, BUT what initially made this a very special experience was the staff! I was so lucky to get Leah! She's been so amazingly helpful and she's just such a good soul! She's by far the best there and she knew exactly what I was looking for! I can't tell you as an avid LUSH fan, how excited I was to go to their largest store! I was in heaven. They had a huge variety of items in all sizes spanning multiple floors. Despite how jam packed it was with people, the staff somehow managed to cater to everyone and be very polite as well. I was on a trip so I couldn't buy anything too large, but I did manage to find some scents that they normally only have seasonally in my city, so that was a bonus. One interesting aspect of this location is their spa. For a comparable price of any other spa, you can book an hour for yourself in a private room. They even have one-on-one counseling for the various service packages they offer. Finally, the best part of this location. Everything had a tester size, and no one breathing down your neck as you perused the store. Definitely recommend! If you have kids I'd just make sure to keep a close eye on them. It was super crowded and I know my own little one would probably get overwhelmed if he had been there. read more

It's been open for months, but I hadn't ventured to the flagship Lush store until recently. Wow. I was missing out! 3 floors of Lushtastic magic. Lots of exclusive products, the full Gorilla perfume range, colour cosmetics (great for those of us still mourning B Never Too Busy 2B Beautiful) & products offered in larger sizes and such not available at other stores or online, a Lush Spa location, & a scented cinema. Truly a bit of an Alladin's cave for Lush fans, or just anyone who likes lovely smelling stuff. The staff here are, as expected at Lush, very approachable & helpful. They are also very plentiful so you're sure to find whatever you're looking for, try something out, or get a great recommendation. Just fabulous. It's a Thursday evening and after nearly a week of work all I was craving was a just one moment of relaxation, so I did just that and went for a tailored made massage by Lush spa. Prior to my massage, my masseur Lauren, sat down with me and talked me through my tense pressure points, and explained how she would release them with a shea butter based massage bar and jelly discs. I tend to build a lot of knots and tension in my back and neck, so of course, these were the chosen focal points. Once she began, I was in absolute bliss and one by one my tired aching knots were being released. Laying peacefully, I was listening to the sounds of the sea playing in the background, as the room filled with the sweet aroma and scent of a fizzing sea salt bomb. I love how they tie in all the senses together, giving you a sensual experience. I have never felt so comfortable and relaxed, and I will definitely be booking an appointment for next month. What I loved the most was they do not rush you after your appointment; you can take your time and rest until your ready to leave (within reason). This enormous store consists of three levels: shower gels, solid soaps, makeup, face masks and lotions on the ground floor, bath products and squishy Fun bars upstairs and massage bars plus fragrances and the very popular Lush Spa downstairs. The ground floor features regular bath bomb demonstrations in the giant basin at the front of the store, which can be very inspiring (and beautiful) if you're stuck for ideas on exactly what to purchase! If you're searching for a gift for a Lush fan, you've come to the right place as there are numerous products exclusive to this particular store which can't be found anywhere else. So this review is for the Lush Spa located in the downstairs of this flagship Oxford St store. What's that? You didn't know Lush had a spa?? Come ... sit by me and let's chat. I discovered a sign for the spa while visiting this location and filed the info away until it was time to pick a birthday present. So I discussed it with the husband, and we went online to pick a treatment. We were both thoroughly confused by the Spa part of the website. Not simply listed out as swedish massage or facial or whatever, these are full-on experiences. They design an entire theme - including commissioning music - and then build the products into this themed experience. It's hard to explain, but check youtube for a video about how "The Comforter?" (the one I picked) was developed. Thankfully I did this so had a pretty good idea what to expect when I arrived - otherwise it's all a bit much to process while also trying to relax and enjoy yourself. On the day, my arrival was very pleasant, with no shortage of employees ensuring I had been made comfortable and the appropriate person alerted to my arrival. I was then escorted to a closed-off room set up to feel like a log cabin kitchen/dining room/sitting room, where the therapist talked me through what the session would include, including little previews of the products. The products intro of course mentioned what they were made as an explanation of why they were chosen for the particular treatment. Then I was invited to take a bathroom run where every Lush product imaginable was available to try - makeup, soap, lotion, perfume, you name it. The room itself was simple, dark and quiet and the session was absolutely perfect. I can't recommend it enough. It made me feel exactly as they set out: comfy, cozy, uplifting, relaxing, soul soothing with a touch of whimsical nostalgia thrown in. This is not your traditional spa experience. Afterward you're invited to sit in a comfy chair with a drink and get your bearings before going back out into cold, packed, crazy Oxford St. It is so worth the £85 - for yourself or as a gift, trust that this will be a memorable and special experience for anyone. And, p.s., the location also has A CINEMA inside it. What? And it's free and you get free popcorn. Well done Lush. The best Oxford Street escape EVER. read more

Ever since this branch opened, its been a delight. Walking on oxford street can be a nightmare sometimes, shop after shop, as soon as you go past this, it smells gorgeous, and it entices you in, and then end up spending an hour or two to just get away from the hustle and bustle outside. This is the biggest store to have opened, spanning over a couple of floors, ranging in all their best sellers and new products too. I love this store, the staff are super helpful and go out of their way to test the products on you, and don't lure you in to purchase straight away. I love that they give samples before purchasing, see how it goes, if you love them go back and buy a full bottle. Nothing is tested on animals making it 100% better for me and everyone! I love their bath bombs, the scents and the amaze colours. You can buy practically everything from this store, some things which aren't even sold online. read more

More than two months ago, Lush has opened it's world's biggest shop in London on Oxford Street, a three storey shop which also include a Lush spa in the basement. I discovered Lush in London 10 years ago, I really like their products, their shop design and also the experience they offered (which allows you to try any of their products in the shop before buying). For the opening of this flagship store they have launched some exclusive 'Oxford St' only products (around 200 products). If you thought your local Lush store was already an amazing shop, you should definitely go to the Oxford street shop as it is like HEAVEN! In the last month I have probably spend more than 4 hours in total there...I've tried most of their new products and already have some favourites. I like the way their staff is so attentive and helpful, they explain every products and make you feel so special (especially when you get a free hand massage). On the ground floor it is all about shampoos, styling creams, face masks, make up, gourmet soaps, shower gels, scrubs, hair products and tooth powders. My favourite product from their shower gels range is the moisturising shower cream 'The Lord of Misrule', I really like its strong smell, a mix of patchouli, pepper and vanilla. Make sure you rinse well otherwise you'll look like Shrek ! Their make-up range is amazing... I love all of their products, from their eyes shadows to their lipsticks... For the moment I only bought their 'Emotional brillance - translucide face powder' which have now become my new daily mineral foundation powder, but their faithful lipstick (£13.50) is on my wishlist. From their hair products my favourite is their 'Sea spray- hair mist' (£9.95 for 100g), I use it everyday since I bought it. On top of giving a beach hair look, it smells amazing...maybe they should do a perfume with the same smell. It's a mix of neroli, orange flower, grapefruit and rosewood. In the basement you will find their range of perfumes, candles, massages bars but also their spa. Spa treatments start from £40 (30 minutes of 'Tailor Made') up to £285 (180 minutes of 'The Planets'). The treatment that caught my eyes is the 'Hard days night treatment' (£85 - 75 minutes: a deep, full body treatment to reworked Beatles songs using innovative, passing stretching techniques to revitalise) - on my wishlist too, but there is a month waiting list to book a spa treatment. I always keep the best till last...on the first floor you'll find all their bath bombs, bath oils, bubble bars and fun soaps. I could spend hours on this floor (well...I kind of did) Some of their exclusive Oxford street products in their bath bombs range are 'Experimenter', 'Guardian of the forest', 'Cyanide pill', 'Frozen', 'The sacred lotus flower' and 'Yoga Bomb''. I bought all of them apart from the Guardian of the forest as I didn't like its smells (not my taste).My two favourites so far are the Experimenter and the Yoga Bomb, both give amazing colours to your bath and smell so good. I would highly recommend popping by if you have a spare hour (or two), you won't regret it! read more

The Oxford Street store is a must visit for any fans of Lush products, although many Londoners don't like shopping on Oxford Street it's worth making an effort to go to this store. As with all Lush stores the staff are charming and friendly and unlike the recently closed Lush store in Covent Garden there is plenty of space to shop and browse. What makes this store so good are all the special products that appear to be exclusive to the Oxford Street store. There is also a very large section of bath bombs if you like that sort of thing. It's good to see a British company with such a vibrant and busy store with so many happy customers. read more

I've heard so much about this place and was really excited to visit it in person. But to be honest, I was pretty disappointed. The offer isn't much different from what I can get in any other Lush store. The staff didn't speak English well. It took more than 15 minutes before someone approached me asking if I need help. I'd gone on a multi leg tour and had to pass through several airports, where they took my beloved liquids. Apparently the sizes that are ok in the US don't pass in London. The soaps and shampoos from the hotels had dried out my skin and hair. Lush to the rescue! Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable, not in a rush at all, and you can- wait for it- try any of the products before you buy them. They shampooed and deep conditioned my hair! They also spent lots of time with us, and had fabulous suggestions for places to eat and check out. In addition to solid shampoo and conditioner bars, I loaded up on all sorts of goodies that aren't available in the US stores, too. read more

Lush has a default address option set on their website. I placed an order without realising it had defaulted to the last address I sent a package to (a friend's address). After 4 days of 3 emails, 3 txt messages, 4 phone calls put on hold then told "all agents are busy" and that I needed to hang up and call again - I gave up. My products have been shipped to the wrong address. I will never order from Lush online again. There is no customer service whatsover. I am so disappointed in Lush and do not recommend ordering online. read more

Wow, Wow, WOW!!! I am a long time Lushie, I have worked for the company, and NEVER in my life have I had this amazing of an experience at Lush, or in any retail situation as a matter of fact. My wife and I came in for double good hour spa treatments as a honeymoon gift. We arrived early, and the lovely Katie escorted me around the store, showing me all the shop exclusive items, and when I mentioned we were here on our honeymoon, she gave us a little special gift for our honeymoon which was so unexpected and sweet! The lovely Ruth and (spa) Katie did our massages and we couldn't have been happier. The good hour was amazing! The Lush Spa never ceases to impress. As a transgender person, massages have the potential to be awkward, but Katie was just great! You can always count on Lush to bee queer friendly. After our treatment, my wife asked Nick a question as we were shopping, and he ended up taking us around the entire store for (I kid you not) at least an hour, showing us tons of items, demoing dozens of items on each of us, and even helping us find our signature perfume scents. She was awesome, and everybody there was very happy to be working. The Lush itself was 3 stories high, and it was filled with all of it's bath bombs, body washes, soaps, and everything. Seriously one of the best things I've ever done for myself! International managers were visiting the day I was there so it was utter madness inside, but once I was whisked into the spa, all of that fell away. The space is calm and peaceful and smells great, and the staff greeted me by name. I'd gotten The Comforter? for myself, mostly because chocolate and rose sounded like a delicious combo. My therapist, Lizbea, did everything to make me feel comfortable and utterly pampered. The treatment was as good as it sounded: luxe and wonderful and chocolaty and rosy. The spa is beautiful and the shop itself is mind-bogglingly huge but still friendly and staffed with helpful people. I will be back! read more
