Most of the stores in Town Center Mall are great, but Lush is the exception. I've been here a couple of times because my kids like their bath bombs, but you can routinely feel the negative vibes coming from the employees as soon as you walk in the door. On our last visit, my youngest wanted to see if they had anything new as far as bath bombs go. However the employees were incredibly rude and dismissive, as they were chatting amongst their themselves and looking at something on their phones. Is it a social call or a business? They were just totally disengaged and rude. Service aside I don't have anyone tolerates the excessively pungent scents here. I had an instant headache a minute or two after walking in. If you're looking for bath and personal care products you can do a lot better than Lush. Do yourself a favor and skip this company completely. read more

Lush is a British cosmetics retailer co-founded by Mark Constantine and Liz Weir who met in the 1970s as they embarked on their beauty careers. They first went into business together selling natural hair and beauty products. By the 1990's they were the Body Shop's biggest supplier. The idea for Lush stemmed from the desire to control the formulation of the products they were making. The Body Shop bought them out and they had to wait until 1994 until their non competition agreement with Body Shop expired. In 1995 they opened their first cosmetics stores on High Street in Poole selling beauty products made from fruits and vegetables. The name for the new store, Lush was chosen from a contest. Today there are nearly a thousand Lush stores across the world selling creams, soaps, shampoos, shower gels, lotions, moisturizers, fragrances, scrubs, toothpaste tablets, masks, and cosmetics. I stopped into this Lush store in Town Center at Boca Raton during a recent visit to the mall. I love that they don't use animal testing and that all products are vegetarian or vegan. This is the closest lush store to us and when I go to this mall it's a must. I always walk out with something. I love how natural this store is with there products handmade. They also sometimes give you samples they have everything from your head to toe I at least tried everything in that store Almost my favorite scent is sleep cream. Because of the lavander smell. They have it in every form from bath bomb to soaps. And it does help with your sleep. Also I love the face masks and if you bring 5 empty containers you can get a free mask which I find so cool. I love shopping at Lush but haven't been in a while until I visited my friend and there was a funny looking bar of "something" sitting on her counter that smelled amazing. I asked her what it was and she told me, her husband loves it and uses it almost every day. It was Lush's Avocado Co-Wash bar. Whenever you walk into a Lush Cosmetic store you're inundated with the aromas from every corner of the store. The products simply draw you in by how good they smell and then after learning what they are for and how they can help with your beauty needs you can't help but to be sold. They have products for almost every skin and hair need and they are ALL made from fresh organic fruits and vegetables, are handmade, and they are against testing any of their products on animals. The Avocado Co-Wash is a cleanser and conditioner all-in-one. It has avocado and butter' as well as other ingredients that are great for your hair and skin. My husband loved how it smelled in the store so we bought it and when he tried it he said it made his hair feel soft and moist. The next item on my list to inquire about was their Henna Hair Dyes. I'd used henna in the past and then switched to something more traditional but my Locs are calling for a change. After speaking with Lady, who was extremely helpful and just amazing througout our entire visit, I bought some henna. If you're interested in using henna, Lush has a helpful video on their site that walks you through how to use it from start to finish. Thanks to Jen at check-out for recommending the video tutorial about using Henna beforehand. (Just scroll down to the bottom of their site and click on videos to find it.) And she was the one to suggest using the Avocado Co-Wash bar on all over your body, not just your hair. We thought we were done shopping until I asked Lady to show me a leave-in conditioner. I rubbed a little on my hands and loved how smooth and soft it was. And when she told me it defines and holds curls just as good as any gel would I bought it and have been using it every day since. I love it. I love the smell and the way it feels in my hair. She also introduced us to a body scrub, lotion bar that's to be used after a shower or bath before you dry your skin. It's one of the best scrubs I've used! After I use it I don't have to apply any oils or lotion to my skin because it's soft and supply and sinks right into my skin leaving it fully moisturized for hours. It's called, Buffy. And I feel like I'm giving my body a good scrub, removing all the dead skin and reintroducing a loving layer of moisture. Maybe it's just me or maybe it's because of stupidity on the cashiers part but my daughter wanted to buy the "playdoh" lush soap so the cashier said 16.05 so my daughter gave a $20 and I said to her I have 5 cents but she was too busy chatting and laughing with her co worker that when I handed her the 5 cents she said oh no I can't change what I input in the machine and I said no but I give you 5 cents and you give me $4 and she said no we would need that before hand because the system doesn't allow us to change the total and I said I was trying to give it to you before hand but you weren't paying attention & she handed me back 95 cents and $4 which I was trying to avoid. My sister was at the door and said yeah even I heard you and I was all the way over here. Lush do better with who you hire. I'm a Publix Customer Service Manager & this service sucked. Train your associates to pay attention learn to wait and count change. She could have easily taken the 5 cents and the til wouldn't have been off it would have all balanced out at the end. She did the same thing to my sister except didn't even tell her the total at all because she couldn't stop her conversation. read more

Mmmm, I love Lush! They make my favorite bath bombs along with many other natural products. As I walk by their stores, I'm draw in by the fragrance and eye appeal. They always have plenty of well-informed employees to greet and provide any needed information. They will point you to the perfect product for your need. With my allergies, I don't fear their products the way I might others because they don't use chemical... that I can't pronounce. lol The stores are arranged in sections with blackboard type signage and bright colors to attract the eye. I have heard great things about Lush, and was really interested in their shampoo bars, so when I was finally at Boca Town Center, I was excited to visit. I was pulled in by their displays and what appeared to be demonstration areas. I had my sons with me, and they were drawn in by the various shapes and textures of bath goo. We walked around the entire store, lingering here and there, but not once did a sales rep greet us, or ask us if they could assist. I had questions, and was prepared to shop, but finally just walked out. Yes, there were plenty of staff on deck, Only 1 or 2 involved with other guests. Some were talking to each other. I wish I could truly comment on the products and service, but unfortunately I can not. The prices were marked on little black slates, and most had 2 prices, so I am unsure the difference. From an uneducated observer, some prices seemed a bit high, but what do I know? I may try again in the future, and hopefully my experience will be different. I will update if that happens. read more

Lush in person is awesome. I love the Boca, FL store; however, due to the pandemic, I had to order online. I made 3 orders, each order had a body cream or shower gel that l was opened and spilled over the other items. My bath bombs thrown in the box so several were broken or moistened by the cream or gel. I called customer service...stayed on the line for over 15 mins and disconnected the call. I called back again and left my number for a call back. I did not receive a response. I even sent a tweet...no response. Thus, I have to reduce the stars for lush. Great (and pricey) products, if they are packaged correctly and arrive intact...smh read more

I fell in love with this store! I have issues with sensitive skin and came in here not knowing what face masks and lotions I could used. Gina (think that was her name) helped me, and she was amazing. She answered all my questions regarding products for my eczema and even gave me two samples to try before I buy. I went home and tried the bunny moon jelly mask and saw instant results. My face was fresh and not dry at all, and the dream cream lotion did not give me instant eczema rashes! These are great products and without Gina's help, I never would have found new products for my skin. Sorry if I got her name wrong, but this woman was amazing and really helped me figure out what to buy especially because it is so hard for someone with eczema to buy anything. This Lush is at Town Center at Boca Raton. It is in a fairly easy to find location and the closest parking areas to it are the parking lots in front of the container store and the ones by Neiman Marcus. The store itself is on the smaller side but it still has a lot of great products to offer. There is always a lot of staff in the store which is good but can also be a little intimidating at times. This is especially so when multiple people come up to you one after the other asking if you want to demo anything (demoing products is one of their main things they are trained to do), even though you just told the last person you were okay and didn't need to demo anything, which has happened to me more than once. I understand they are trying to sell products and they are trained to be persistent so it's not a huge deal, just something to note. The products themselves are amazing and the company is so great. Lush is fantastic in general but at this location it's extraordinary. What sets this location apart from any other retail store is that everyone here is that everyone genuinely loves working here. Everyone is so nice and not once out of the billions of times that I have shopped here have I ever experienced a problem. I'd like to thank Jasmine for being amazing! She took the time to sit me down and get to know me and my skin. My skin was doing really weird things. I was dry but was still developing really ugly breakouts. She sat me down and gave me everything I needed, soup to nuts. She took the time to explain and demo different cleansers, toners, moisturizers. I ended up walking out with Coal Face, Eau Roma Toning Water, Self Preserving Ocean Salt Scrub, Oatifix, Full of Grace, and Vanishing Cream. My skin is back to normal, well actually better than ever. This girl is a Product Knowledge wizard. She explained the ingredients and how they would work with my skin, and she was spot on about everything.
