I had been thinking about doing a boudoir session for about 6 months for my husband and my 5th wedding anniversary, but when the day finally came, I was so nervous. Quickly I realized, Katherine is extremely talented - not just her photography skills, but also her people skills. She made me so comfortable! I didn't feel awkward at all. The entire process was such an awesome experience - from my initial email exchange with Katherine, to my makeup and hair with Tara, to the photos themselves, all the way to my viewing session. I am so excited to get my album to give to my husband. I would highly recommend Katherine to anyone interested in doing boudoir photos for their significant other (or themselves!). It was an awesome experience for sure!

When I booked the party I didn't know what to expect and it truly exceeded my expectations. It was the perfect start to our day and all of our pictures came out incredible. We had so much fun hanging out, having a couple of drinks and taking turns having our 20 minute individual sessions. I really can't say enough good things about Katherine and the talent she has for her craft. She made us feel so comfortable and at ease during each of our sessions and it showed in the pictures. The pictures were gorgeous and all of us were very pleased with them. We were so happy with the individual shots Katherine took but we were especially in love with the group shots she took of us at the end. They came out incredible! We had some inspiration pictures we wanted to replicate and Katherine was completely up for it and beyond accommodating. There's a great white brick wall outside across the street from the studio so we took some shots out there popping champagne and throwing confetti with the bride. Those pictures were my favorite and I truly couldn't be happier with the results. I'm really not one to post reviews but I felt like I had to get the good word out about Katherine Henry Photography and more specifically about hosting a bachelorette party at her studio. It was SOO much better than having a cliche spa day! The bride loved it, we all had so much fun and we have epic pictures we'll be able to cherish forever! Thanks Katherine! :)

From our initial meeting with them, we knew they were professional and easy to work with. Their portfolio of work assured us that they would capture our special day in the right light. They were easy to reach by email and replied quickly whenever we had questions. Our engagement photo session was held at Arnold Arboretum in the early fall. Emilie was easy going and made us feel comfortable. She captured the spring season beautifully and we were very satisfied with the outcome. As our wedding approached, Emilie did a great job putting together a timeline to make sure we made the best of the time we had. On the day of the wedding, the team was fully prepared for the long day of more than 12 hours of work. The team kept it light and fun but at the same time working together to capture the day while continuously looking to outdo each other creatively. Their attention to detail was impeccable. We have only received teasers at this point and looking forward to seeing more but we know they will be great. Many of our friends viewed the photo teasers and all were blown away. As one of our friends stated, "literally the most professional catalogue worthy wedding pics I've seen". We would highly recommend Lovely Valentine. They not only did a great job capturing our personalities but also became a part of our special day.
