I booked their last appointment slot of the day, so I was grateful they were willing to get my filling done the same day. I will definitely be a returning patient!

Terrible experience…read more I normally do not leave reviews, and I am usually willing to let a bad experience go without saying anything. However, this experience was significant enough that I feel it is important to share what happened. This was my first visit to Fort Worth Dental. No dental treatment was provided. I left the appointment without receiving the care I came in for, yet the practice still submitted a claim to my insurance. During the appointment, I was accused by the dentist Dr. Pham three separate times of drug use based on the condition of my teeth. I do not use drugs. I also do not believe the condition of my teeth was severe enough to warrant such an accusation, particularly from someone who had no knowledge of my dental history. What I found especially unprofessional and ignorant was that, after I corrected the accusation, it was repeated rather than acknowledged and moved past. As a patient, you have to trust your dental provider to listen to you, respect you, and approach your care professionally. I felt that trust was violated during my very first visit. Patients should be able to seek dental care without being subjected to unsupported accusations, particularly when those accusations are repeated after being corrected. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this practice to anyone who values being treated with basic respect, professionalism, and trust. The dentist was confidently incorrect and made the entire situation extremely unprofessional.

Dr. Rezsofi completely cured me of my fear of dentists. Prior to meeting with him, it had been five…read moreyears since I had been to the dentist and I was terrified to go. From the moment I walked into 1187 Dental, I knew it was different then dental offices I had been to before. The front desk staff was amazing with figuring out my insurance information, and walked me through the whole process. (Thanks Amber!) When I was led back to the dental chair, they offered to play whatever music would make me comfortable. Dr. Rezsofi came in almost immediately and spent quite awhile talking to me about my fears and making me comfortable. He never acted like I was being silly, and truly listened as I explained why I was afraid. Amber was equally awesome as she took x-rays and explained each step before she proceeded. They even had a tv over the chair so I could see the results of the X-Ray. I had come in with a painful and inflamed gum and Dr. Rezsofi was able to quickly establish what was wrong, provide temporary relief, and outline what we would need to do next. Since that first visit I have rescheduled three times. Once for a cleaning, once for wisdon tooth removal, and once to have some minor cosmetic fixes to my front teeth. For a girl that refused to go to the dentist this was a BIG change. I truly appreciate everyone at 1187 Dental for helping me ensure that I can take care of my dental health without fear. Sent her EOB showing what their office's contracted amount was, what we paid and what our other insurance company paid and still they will not refund our money. Reported them to the "State Board of Dental Examiners". Belnap owes us over $500.00.
