I had never seen this woman there before so I'm assuming she is new to the establishment. I will not go into detail, but what happened was extremely inappropriate and uncomfortable, in the moment I froze and was filled with over 5 minutes of the most invasive/ uncomfortable massage I've ever had. None of it felt good and I'm left with a pit in my stomach after this incident feeling absolutely sickened. I looked it up to see if maybe this was normal and a culture thing and maybe I was being prude (one of the many thoughts going through my head during the time), but no, what she did was 1000% out of the normal range, violates massage code of ethics (in pretty much all countries) and was beyond inappropriate. I understand that with massages already being intimate, there are slip ups/ awkward moments at times, rarely. However, this was intentional and crossed boundaries. I've never had a situation like this happen before, but I know what I will do if it ever happens again. Get up, demand my money back, and run. I will be taking a long break from getting massages now, which is already a disappointing thought. But, what happened has freaked me out and made me feel a different way than I used too. This is all Asian style - fully clothed and in a community room (lights are dimmed and there's music playing in background). First, he brought some warm water to soak my feet and had me lay down on the massage table (it was lower to the ground). (I'm used to more of a chair setup). He massaged my head, neck and arms first. Then he moved to the foot reflexology part which was my favorite (he did legs here too). Then he had me turn over and massaged my back. Definitely feeling a little sore from the massage - just need to drink a lot of water. $30+tip for an hour massage is totally worth it. I brought my friend along and she'd never had a massage before. Then the lady walked out from another room and asked if i tipped before I reach the door out of there, I was like yes. Her husband looked at her and she apologized. I felt like I shouldn't be asked to tipped. Felt very odd now. If you don't care and want to try a massage that is different this is a place for you. I more of a person who like the deep tissue or Sweden type where they work the muscles more than the points.
