I've had numerous other appointments for testing and pre and post-op. I think the confusion is with the multiple locations and rehab centers. So the overall rating here is not accurate in my opinion. My partner is now seeing a doctor here and is very satisfied. I go to the Belcher Pavilion and the Bowie location. The Bowie location can be VERY busy but it's smaller so it looks busier. The AAMC location is very busy but it's huge - segmented into different sections for backs, legs, knees, etc... I just had my second carpal tunnel surgery last week and here from Dr. G I am typing away. My major back surgery was a success from Dr. S and I'm so happy.

It was surreal to think I could feel that good again. As time has gone on the effects have lessened however my anxiety is still normal and I am nowhere near as hypervigilant as I was before the treatment. I highly recommend reaching out to Dr. Lynch and not wasting any more time being stuck. Life is incredible when you can really experience it.

I was then sat in a teeny tiny room and told to wait for the orthopedic medical professional to come and examine my Injury and review the x-rays with me. I waited in that teeny tiny room for over 50 minutes. I exited the room, found a person, and told the person I have been waiting in that tiny room for over 50, not 15 but FIVE ZERO minutes. They asked what room and what orthopedic medical professional, when I let them know, I was told that the orthopedic medical professional is in the room next to yours, you're next, please go back and wait. NO!! I will not wait In the teeny tiny room for another minute. If I can respect YOUR schedule, YOU respect MY schedule.

Dr. Charles Ruland, M.D., of Anne Arundel Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), successfully performed…read moreshoulder surgery on me two years ago. The results exceed my most ambitious expectations. My surgically repaired shoulder is completely pain free and has more strength and mobility than the other shoulder. My repair dealt with an accumulation of injuries beginning many years ago involving a complete tear of rotator cuff muscle, large tears in the bicep and subscapularis, a stretched out tendon over the shoulder, bone spurs, and arthiritis. As a senior citizen, there was a significant likelihood the results would be a total failure, and the best expected outcome was a 90% recovery of strength and mobility. I am thrilled my results exceed the best expected outcome. Dr. Ruland took such care in the performance of the surgery that I ascribe it to being above and beyond the call of duty. I dedicated myself to the rehad and felt the AAOS rehab professionals were equally dedicated to my recovery and were very skilled. I have returned to activities that I was required to abandon prior to the surgery. It's not possible for me to describe the enjoyment in my new found health. Nearly every day I think about the simple pleasure of having my shoulders level instead of having one drooping. Being pain free is amazing. Returning to activities I enjoy including playing with my grandson is a thrill. The ability to perform strenuous activities without asking for help is very satisfying. Dr. Charles Ruland was recommended to me by my Doctor. Those of us who have had shoulder surgery like to compare notes. From those discussions I know Dr. Charles Ruland is highly admired. My results fit Dr. Ruland's reputation.

Dr Rodriguez at this practice was difficult to reach by phone thru their convoluted phone system…read more When I did finally reach someone I had to schedule an initial apptmt with a PA then was referred to Dr R with a face to face apptmt in 2 wks and then another 2 wks for an injection. When I questioned this I was met with static and further contact difficulty. Since contact was too difficult I changed providers and it took my direct intervention to obtain previously requested records for the new provider and it still took 3 wks for this Dr to issue a discharge letter so the new provider could take over Rx responsibility.

We've been with this practice for three years and this problem is new. If I could only talk to someone to let them know that they have a problem. This is maddening!

Listening to the conversation w my sister trying to make an appointment w the office in Annapolis…read more The lady asked a whole lot of questions and was adamant about getting the name of the adjuster. Well my sister had the claim number and phone number but that wasn't enough. Then she asked more questions about the accident which is understandable then she ask about her insurance. Then she told her she can print the forms online to fill out everything that my sister just told her. She was rude and not nice at all. Seems like whatever info my sister didn't have at the time was prolonging her date and time of appointment. RightTime referred her and they shouldn't be referring anyone because this RightTime may be nice but this receptionist or intake person at OSM in Annapolis was very impatient and rude. So we go online to print the papers and saw so many bad reviews that it was enough for us to say we need another orthopaedic facility. It's a shame that Rightime has nice people then they refer you to a place that isn't friendly. RightTime please remove this facility off of your referral list.

I had rotator cuff surgery. It went well. The problem is the physical therapy. I had already been in PT prior to having surgery and didn't have many of my 30 available sessions remaining. I called my insurance company and they were very specific with me that I could get more sessions however my doctor must call a special number to request more visits. I contacted his office and they said NO, they do not talk to insurance companies and that my PT place simply had to send in a new order. I tried it. It didn't work. Talked to insurance again and they said Doc must call. Made an appointment. paid to go see him. explained the situation. he said he would call. after a week insurance says he hasn't called so I email him and receive response from an office person who tells me that they will not call insurance. So here I sit. Having racked up THOUSANDS of dollars in PT expenses I cannot afford to go anymore. My shoulder is not healed. I am still in pain. My doctor's office won't make one phone call for me. My insurance company will not approve more PT until they talk to doctor. And on I go. Looks like my surgery was a waste of time and loads of money as I cant go back to PT to complete my rehab unless I rob a bank. Health "Care" in this country is broken.
