It was surreal to think I could feel that good again. As time has gone on the effects have lessened however my anxiety is still normal and I am nowhere near as hypervigilant as I was before the treatment. I was taken to x-ray immediately, the tech was awesome, the x-ray process fantastic. I was then sat in a teeny tiny room and told to wait for the orthopedic medical professional to come and examine my Injury and review the x-rays with me. I waited in that teeny tiny room for over 50 minutes. I exited the room, found a person, and told the person I have been waiting in that tiny room for over 50, not 15 but FIVE ZERO minutes. They asked what room and what orthopedic medical professional, when I let them know, I was told that the orthopedic medical professional is in the room next to yours, you're next, please go back and wait. NO!! I will not wait In the teeny tiny room for another minute. If I can respect YOUR schedule, YOU respect MY schedule.

I had rotator cuff surgery. It went well. The problem is the physical therapy. I had already been in PT prior to having surgery and didn't have many of my 30 available sessions remaining. I called my insurance company and they were very specific with me that I could get more sessions however my doctor must call a special number to request more visits. I contacted his office and they said NO, they do not talk to insurance companies and that my PT place simply had to send in a new order. I tried it. It didn't work. Talked to insurance again and they said Doc must call. Made an appointment. paid to go see him. explained the situation. he said he would call. after a week insurance says he hasn't called so I email him and receive response from an office person who tells me that they will not call insurance. So here I sit. Having racked up THOUSANDS of dollars in PT expenses I cannot afford to go anymore. My shoulder is not healed. I am still in pain. My doctor's office won't make one phone call for me. My insurance company will not approve more PT until they talk to doctor. And on I go. Looks like my surgery was a waste of time and loads of money as I cant go back to PT to complete my rehab unless I rob a bank. Health "Care" in this country is broken.

I've had numerous other appointments for testing and pre and post-op. I think the confusion is with the multiple locations and rehab centers. So the overall rating here is not accurate in my opinion. My partner is now seeing a doctor here and is very satisfied. I go to the Belcher Pavilion and the Bowie location. The Bowie location can be VERY busy but it's smaller so it looks busier. The AAMC location is very busy but it's huge - segmented into different sections for backs, legs, knees, etc... I just had my second carpal tunnel surgery last week and here from Dr. G I am typing away. My major back surgery was a success from Dr. S and I'm so happy.

When I questioned this I was met with static and further contact difficulty. Since contact was too difficult I changed providers and it took my direct intervention to obtain previously requested records for the new provider and it still took 3 wks for this Dr to issue a discharge letter so the new provider could take over Rx responsibility.

Sadly, "Tracy" is rude, and has zero business acumen or understanding of how to conduct herself in a professional setting as evidence by an obvious and attitude which was offensive, condescending and belligerent in tone. Clearly, she has no business handling a private practice, if she doesn't know how to communicate with patients-- period. The Dr's in this practice need to take note and understand that their staff sets the tone, and represents the practice-- as a whole. Who you choose to represent you matters, and how patients are treated on the front and back end, can make the difference in your patient flow-- particularly in an area with MANY viable options... Perhaps she's frustrated and burnt out; but if that's the case then she needs to consider a change in careers, if she can no longer handle the basics of how to control and conduct herself in an office setting. It has left a sour taste to say the least and I will not be returning to the practice.

I trust them with my life and to always recommend the best thing for me. He is very good about trying other options other than surgery first then surgery if needed. When I've had my surgeries they were there for me every step of the way and answered all my questions. I felt safe and at ease with them before, during and after my surgeries. I would highly recommend them and i have to many of my friends. I live out of state now but will make the drive to see them if I need to because I won't go to any one else!
