In my opinion they should be receiving a Zero rating. Absolutely horrific experience…read more I am extremely disappointed with our experience at Gym Nest's summer camp. My child came home and told me the entire group was required to clean the facility walls with cleaning chemicals because some of the children were not listening. Collective punishment like this is unacceptable. I pay for my child to attend camp to learn, play, and be supervised--not to clean the business as a consequence for other children's behavior. If specific children are having behavioral issues, they should be disciplined individually. Parents should also be informed if their own child has behavior concerns. My child had done nothing wrong and should never have been included in that punishment. This incident was the final straw after previously bringing concerns to staff about my child being repeatedly picked on by another camper. Despite raising those concerns, nothing meaningful was done. I continued to give the facility multiple chances, hoping things would improve, but unfortunately they did not. I was also surprised by how much of the camp appeared to be run by very young staff members with limited supervision. As a parent, I expected a safe, positive, and professionally managed environment. Instead, I left feeling disappointed and frustrated. I will not be returning.

Had a party here and when I went up stairs to start decorating there were ants all over the ground…read moreand icing and cake imbedded in the carpet and on the tables. No one came up to clean before the party so I had to get a vacuum and Lysol wipes and do it myself. Very frustrating to have to clean up after other people when it's the employees job. I was told they would have the area cleaned and clean up after each party, then we had a half an hour left of play time and they told all of our guests they couldn't go to the gym area. They also came up to the party room before the end of my party and started trying to take down the decorations and hurry us out. Very unprofessional.

My two-year-old nephew was attacked while sleeping at this daycare. No child should ever be put in…read morea situation where they are harmed while under the care and supervision of people who are supposed to protect them. When they picked him up NO ONE knew what had happened to him. Complete NEGLECT!!! What makes this even more disturbing is the extremely concerning teacher-to-child ratio. There are reportedly around 15 children to just one teacher. That is not supervision -- that is a recipe for neglect and unsafe conditions. Children this young require constant attention, monitoring, and protection, especially during nap time when they are most vulnerable. The fact that something like this could happen raises serious questions about the level of oversight, staffing, and safety procedures at this facility. Parents trust daycares with their most precious thing in the world -- their children. When that trust is broken in such a traumatic way, it cannot be ignored. I strongly urge other parents to ask very hard questions before enrolling their children here, and I sincerely hope that the appropriate licensing authorities investigate this facility immediately. No family should have to go through something like this. Children deserve safety, not neglect.

Serious concerns about safety, professionalism, and respect…read more One of the owners (Lyndsay) of this daycare repeatedly parks in the handicap parking spot without a valid placard or plate, even after I spoke directly to the other owner Holly about it and Lyndsay in their messaging system. Law enforcement has been called multiple times and tells her to move her truck, yet she continues to do it. My child even told me that Lyndsay asked him what his mom thinks about her truck parking there, which is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Communication with this daycare is also extremely poor. I called and messaged multiple times through their app before school started to confirm their pickup procedures, and no one responded until after the first day of school. The voicemail I finally received gave no real information, and when I called back, no one answered. To make matters worse, they didn't pick up my son on his first day of school. I only found out an hour later when the school messaged me to say they had to contact the daycare to come back and get him. The response from the garden of learning was, "Well, at the worst case scenario, you know if we don't pick them up, the school will always call us to go back." That is not an acceptable attitude when you're responsible for children's safety. These situations put us in a very uncomfortable position because I no longer felt safe or comfortable leaving my child in their care. Once I found other accommodations, I decided to pull him out of the daycare entirely. Between the lack of communication, disregard for accessibility laws, and dismissive attitude toward serious issues, I will never send another one of my children here and would strongly caution other parents to think twice.
