We had a WONDERFUL experience with Granite Garage Floors recently!…read more I've always wanted to epoxy my garage floors, and finally had the opportunity and budget to do so. After researching and reaching out to multiple companies, we decided to go with the folks at GGFKC. From their patience answering all our questions, to a thorough and transparent quoting process, to amazing follow up and follow THROUGH, working with the team at GGFKC was outstanding, start to finish. It's exceedingly rare to work with any sort of home repair company or contractor, and have them do exactly what they say they're going to do, exactly when they say they're going to do it. This company bucks that sad trend with flying colors! Our biggest challenge was going to be the window of opportunity to install the flooring at a time that worked for us, and ensuring they had an available crew at the right time. Greg and his team at GGF bent over backwards to make sure they could meet our timeframe, and then they hit the project out of the park! In just a couple weeks' time, I've already had no less than four envious neighbors complimenting me about the floors and asking about our experience. I'll tell you what I told them - I LOVE the floors I waited so long to get, and I HIGHLY recommend Granite Garage Floors of KC!

JRK Flooring company arrived in the morning on time as promised…read more Prior to the having the hardwoods refinished, we moved all furniture out of the rooms that we were to have redone, as was communicated to us during the estimation process. By moving out all furniture the crew was able to begin right on time. The crew sanded an area on the wood floor to test stains for us to select from. Then the process of sanding began and was amazed at how much time and detail is takes to properly sand the wood. I was assured that there would be some dust filter out, in which it did, but it was minimal to what it would be like without collecting the sanding in a large bag. The crew cleaned up and dusted all the area, applied the stain then closed the door to let the floors dry. The process took 3 days from start to finish. The crew was friendly and never was bothered by any questions or pictures I wanted to take. Our 56 year old hardwoods are originals and had the old orange sheen from shellac. This was the first time the floors had been refinished. Once the old shellac was sanded off (the floors were gorgeous, even without the stain); the hardwoods were cleaned up and ready for stain. The process of refinishing is quite an education and we are extremely pleased with how the end product came out. The refinishing is really a work of art, especially when you have someone who understands that wood is a living species. Justin Kelley provides Superior Workmanship. Thank you and to his crew too!

I can only give Epoxy Floors by Welch five stars from start to finish…read more I received several quotes from local garage floor coating contractors, and ultimately chose this company for a few key reasons. For the estimate, Brandon (owner) came out personally to walk me through the process, pricing, warranty, and timeline. He struck a great balance--warm and approachable, yet professional and knowledgeable. Cost-wise, all of my bids were within $300 of each other, so price wasn't a major deciding factor. The companies I spoke with offered almost identical processes and warranties, so my decision ultimately came down to communication and overall confidence. Brandon and his team made the best first impression, and trusting that gut feeling definitely paid off. As for the installation itself--the process was smooth and well organized. The team dropped off a storage pod (included in the price) on Friday, giving us the weekend to clear out the garage. They returned Monday and completed the first phase in about five hours, which included surface prep (diamond grinding), crack repair, base coat application, and decorative flake broadcast. They allowed the floor to cure overnight, then came back Tuesday to scrape and clean the excess flake before applying the topcoat. They provided clear post-install instructions, no foot traffic for 24 hours and no vehicles for 72 hours, as well as after care information. From start to finish, communication was excellent. The team was friendly, professional, and responsive to questions. Overall, they made the entire experience easy and left me feeling confident that we made a good investment.
