They also have 3 parking spots if you just need to pick up a coffee, newspaper, sandwich or whatever. I use them primarily for the excellent hand car wash and valet - quick, thorough and professional for a very reasonable price. Since I have a (by Brit standards) big SUV I have to pay the higher price but for a complete hand wash and dry, cleaning and vacuuming inside the prices is £15 - really not bad. Two thumbs up!

I know it's a but silly to have a favorite gas station shop but I adore this place. It's open…read morewhenever I need something on short notice, has an amazing range of items and I adore the super smiley boy they've got working behind the counter. They've even got surprisingly good hot sandwiches. All the staff is really sweet and chatty but I may be developing a harmless crush on the adorable shy boy that works there. This Tesco Extra store is huge, gargantuin even with an enormous range of just about everything…read more(apart from the kitchen sink) at very reasonable prices. The cafe has been relocated to the new upper floor but is woefully short of toilets, a whole two and they're both intended for the diasbled however a wheelchair user would need to run the gauntlet of the tray carrying cafe customers and the closely placed tables in order to use them. To say the layout wasn't very well thought out is a bit of an understatement. Unfortunately the store also has a thriving home delivery service which has expanded into the carpark. Shoppers use the free parking spaces at Tesco to visit the newly built Eagles Meadow Shopping Mall which is opposite the store making parking in what was already a small carpark almost impossible on a saturday. At peak times you'll be queuing to get in and queing to get out.

The only pit falls are they only accept cash no cards, and when you are pulling back out onto the road you have to be fast if you want to go accross the road you could be stuck there a while whilst you wait for a gap in the traffic but it is well worth it for cheaper diesel. Theres a little hut in the middle and you open the door and pass your cash over to an asistant. The staff are always freindly and polite. It can be hard to know when your going to see it but it is opposite firth rixons a big factory so just look out for it.
