We were greeted with so much enthusiasm and joy ... I felt so welcomed! For start to finish Donyella (sp) took such good care of us! Careful guidance. Great humor. Wonderful music. EXCELLENT energy! I canNOT wait to burn my candles AND look forward to recommending this place to others. Please check them out and show your support. Great for couples, girls night out/in, small groups, bachelorette parties, alternative bachelor parties, teen celebrations and MORE!

I actually learned about coconut wax and the cotton wicks that they use. The scents were laid out in a manner that requires you to follow your nose to make decisions. Once you pick your scents you have an easy setup for mixing and pouring your candle. I liked the fact that the overall process wasn't too messy. The best part is that they offer a BYOB service! You can create your atmosphere. The karaoke stage and sound system is a great way to kill time while waiting for your wax to harden. My overall experience was a 10/10. Clean facility, Welcoming staff, Straight forward process, and I got to take my candle home after the experience.

We came in for a children's show on Saturday afternoon. We were aiming for a puppet show last weekend but landed on a science show this weekend and I'm so glad we did! We got to see "Noreen the Science Queen" and engage in a live show with her. Not only was she amazing, but it was so wonderful to expose our girls to a woman in STEM and, more special for them, a Black woman in STEM. After the show, Noreen the Science Queen greeted the attendees in the lobby. She was open for pictures, and was selling both science kits for at home experiments and copies of her book. She is also available for birthday parties!! Now about the Cultural Arts Center, they currently have two exhibits: (1) there is an art show in the lobby in honor of Juneteenth and visitors get to vote on their favorite three (2) there is an exhibit of toys and games from the 1800s on the second floor. We didn't go up to check it out.

We came here for the first time to see one of our favorite comedians. I had always heard of the…read moreclub, but never knew where it was and it is located in a strip mall in the burbs. This works great for us and parking was easy in the large lot. We got there a few minutes before showtime and parked right up front. Upon entering, our names were on a list and they gave us hard tickets at the front desk, kind of like will call. There is a main lobby with bathrooms and then into the dark main space, that was a decent size. There was a two item minimum that was easily met (can be a food item or drink) and our server was great about timing so we wouldn't be too disrupted from the show. It was a small audience that night, but this place would be great even with a bigger crowd.

I've been to the Helium Club many times and experienced a show in the "the Other Room" for the…read morefirst time. And here's my take: 1. The Other Room is cozy and looks to hold ~100 guests, the only "bad seats" are the ones that run directly right and left to the stage along the wall. The viewing angle isn't that great and based on the audio can't be that great based on my experience. 2. The room temp was very cold, at least where we sat on the high top tables near the window/door. Bring a jacket just in case or drink more to stay warm. 3.(my biggest issue) The audio was sub-par ... the male comedian was a little hard to understand and the featured comedian was a little better, but still had its moments where understanding her was difficult. They could add additional speakers or tone the bass done. The audio was probable a 3 out of 5, at best. The audio wasn't crisp or as clear as their main room. I'm hoping the bad audio was due to our seats, but I doubt it. 4. The staff was great and I've never had an issues with the staff, probably one of the best service staffs in any comedy club in Atlanta. Finally, I'm definitely planning to watch several upcoming comedians at the Helium club, however, if they are performing in "the Other Room", I'll be hesitant to purchase their show tickets. I'll wait a hope they draw a larger crowd to fill the main room or make their way down to the Punchline the next time they come to Atlanta. The Other Room rating - 3.5 stars out of 5

Some can't paint the painting to look like the 'model' painting and aren't helpful with technique. It's a crap shoot based on who you get. They are all nice. I was there 2 days ago, and the experience was fun with my group. Today I am so disappointed. My niece and I were so excited to do the Eiffel Tower painting because we've just been to Paris together, and the silhouettes in the painting look like us. We've been telling everyone we were doing it and have been planning for 3 weeks. At 2:00 today they let me know not enough people signed up and they canceled the class. We are so bummed. Maybe they wouldn't have made a lot of money tonight, but they lost all of our future business. I'm sadly looking for new places to paint.

It's a good thing that the string art class is significantly smaller than the terrarium class, because there is A LOT of hammering. The employees are super helpful and supportive and I created a finish or diff that I'm very proud of. I love that the class is BYOB, and my favorite thing was the fact that if you don't finish in time, they send you home with extra string. I definitely needed it. But I recommend both classes to everyone. Perfect for the girlfriends!

We did a date night here and pre-booked/purchased through Groupon which gives a nice little discount so check that out first. It's BYOB (Wine & Beer) plus snacks so we stopped at Whole Foods (right down the block) to pick up items so we could enjoy ourselves. Make sure you bring any cups, plates, napkins, etc that you will need for your bev & food because they don't have any of that for you. The experience: It's a good offering for the price, you get to have the whole experience which is fun & creative and you get to leave with something. You pick your container from their options when you first walk in (we picked one large container and then 3 small containers) and then you get either 3 small succulents or 1 large and 1 small succulents (which are more than enough to fit in your containers) they had a variety of colored moss, color rocks, and some cute little decor items (or bring your own). Overall, it's a great price, great experience and you can customize it as much or little as you like. We can't wait to go back!
