Grilled chicken Meat Enchiladas Plate

I recommend the grilled chicken enchiladas. Was busy on Thursday evening. Also great chips and guacamole

Amanda L.

The orders are always incorrect, I typically use the online ordering but even when you call, they still get it wrong. I ordered the Mexican fries and requested no cheese, brought it home only to bite into a wad of cheese. When I called to have them redo it and specifically told them NO CHEESE, the second order has cheese, a lot more this time. Also, they forgot to add corn in the first order. I drove back and forth twice, waste of time and money. They weren't that busy either. So disappointing. I should've opened my order at the restaurant instead of taking it home, but I thought they'd follow instructions the second time.

Changed their taco salad

I hadn't been to lulus in a while, and I really wanted their taco salad. They changed it from the last time and I liked the old one better with the shredded lettuce instead of the full romaine. I just kind of felt like I was eating a Caesar salad in a taco shell...

Carne asada super burrito with green hot sauce

The food taste is a point. The salsa is on point, and the size of the burrito is a point. On April 4, our daughter had their open house at school. We usually order online customers, so when it was open house and we were hungry afterward, we said, "Let's go to lulus, why not?" So, we walked in at 7:15. I checked the time because they closed at 8 and I'm aware of that. We say hi a man approaches the cashier, and they start giggling and playing around. Mind you, we are ready to order because we usually order here. So I rudely interested them and said my order una quesadilla de pollo un burrito de al pastor and my husband gets his order so does My other daughter. And I go to the restroom WOOW what a surprise to me it was dirty and the cook had just laid a fat one in the bathroom mannn it stank so bad. At that point I'm like I hope he washed his hands and then it's my turn to wash my hands mind you good thing they had lays on the top of a little rack they had there but geeez that smell was hideous like he was sick or something. So I'm going to wash my hands. i washed them, and there's no napkins. So I'm stuck, like, how do I open this door without touching it? So I grabbed some toilet paper, and that's how I opened the door. Oh, and the straws are not wrapped. Be aware! I think we will stick to online and maybe the one in Campbell we've been to that one as well, and it's ok too. -1 star for professionalism and -1 Another star for sanitation and presentation.

great Lulu's location! I have come here weekly for over a year, and it never disappoints. The food is incredibly delicious. Some of my favorites are "The Works" Taco + the enchiladas plate (with green sauce). We order ahead, and our food is always ready when we arrive. They stay busy - especially during the lunch time rush, but they are very efficient and staff is always so kind. Will keep coming back - hopefully forever! :D

Taco salad (no shell)

I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but I felt extremely dissatisfied with this taco salad from Lulus. I know that tomatoes in pico de gallo contain water, but it should really be drained before putting in a salad. All the lettuce was soggy and I spent $16 on this dish. The only reason I'm not giving a 1 star review is because I always enjoy their chopped salad with shrimp.

Place is a little small and unassuming from the street but the appeal for me was the $2.75 tacos in this economy? As for the tacos, great taste and value overall! They give a pretty generous portion size for their meat in the tacos. I asked for fish tacos, but the lady said they only do fish and shrimp tacos for 6.99? My favorite of the 3 tacos I had was the al pastor, wish it had a little pineapple on top with it. Carnitas were good, but not as flavorful and the lengua was pretty tender as one would hope 4/5* We also ordered the bisteck ranchero and it was a bit lack luster portion size was a lot smaller than what I'm used to and it was soaked in a red tomato sauce. Unfortunately this dish was a miss and underwhelming 2/5* Chips and salsa are refillable upon request too. The women who were working here were very nice as well! Salsa is on the medium/spicy side I'm giving this place 4 stars because of how happy I was with the tacos, please don't change those! Except maybe a little pineapple on the al pastor please! If you're hungry and want something flavorful and filling I would 100% stick to the tacos here

I got 2 quesobirria tacos and 2 tacos al pastor, and visually everything looked on point -- the plating was clean, tacos looked well-stuffed, and the birria tortillas had that nice golden crisp. But once we started eating, we all felt the same thing: the salsas were lacking flavor. And with tacos like these, good salsa takes everything to the next level. Here, it kind of held them back. They only gave me two tiny lime pieces, and I couldn't even get enough juice out of them to brighten up the tacos. Something so simple, but it makes a huge difference. We also asked for chips and salsa (they're not free), and they never came. Honest mistake -- they were cool about it and took it off the bill -- but still, it added to the overall experience. Another thing: the nopales weren't well cooked or prepped. They had that slightly tough, raw texture instead of the tender, seasoned bite they should have. Flavor-wise, the pastor and birria were decent, but with weak salsa and barely any lime, it felt incomplete. All four of us agreed on the same thing: This place could be great if they tighten up their salsas and the little details. I'd give them another shot someday because the base is there -- they just need that extra punch of flavor to really elevate their tacos.

I ordered a burrito with carne asada along with one taco. Right away, I was impressed with the presentation. Everything was neatly packed, and the portions were generous, which is always a plus for catered meals. Overall, the taste wasn't bad, but it didn't completely wow me. The carne asada was decent and filling, though I feel the burrito would've tasted much better with sour cream. Unfortunately, that came with an extra fee, so I skipped it. In hindsight, I probably would've enjoyed the meal more if I ordered a bowl instead, since the flavors might have stood out more without being wrapped in a tortilla. While it wasn't my favorite Mexican-style catering I've had, it was still a solid option for a work meal. I appreciated the portion size and presentation, and with a few tweaks to my order next time, I think the experience could be better.

We ordered two Taco Trios so we could sample all of their meat options, and the asada and carnitas were easily the standouts--both were flavorful and well cooked. We also tried the impossible meat burrito, which was absolutely delicious and a great option even if you're not vegetarian. The habanero salsa was tasty but definitely spicy, so proceed with caution. Service was average, nothing bad but nothing standout either. That said, the food more than made up for it. Prices felt fair for the quality, and overall it was worth the visit. We'll definitely be returning and would recommend checking it out if you're in the area.

The fish and shrimp in the ceviche were super fresh and had a perfect level of tanginess and spiciness. The mango and avocado were great additions. The pulpo salteados was filling and comforting, with the octopus and calamari being tender, and the potatoes being boiled down to be soft. The garlic butter sauce was delicious! The asado mixto, in my opinion, is the best dish to get, since there's a bit of everything on the menu, from beef to pork to chicken to shrimp. Everything was cooked to be tender, and it was a delicious bite to wrap everything in the corn tortillas. The molcajete salsa had a perfect kick of spice. I have been known to get a burrito for lunch. There are other things on the menu I'm sure I'd be happy with. But, when it's Cafe del Sol night, I crave the adobo marinated seafood and chipotle tequila cream sauce of the seafood enchiladas. They are served with yummy cilantro rice, diced mango, salsa fresca, and a small salad. The rotating dishes of my party include Camarones al Mojo de Ajo, the Red Snapper, Fish Tacos, and El Combo. We always get Quesadilla de Camaron as a starter. The quesadilla comes with a side of guacamole, sour cream, salsa fresca, and diced mango for your dipping pleasure. A side order of chips comes with an addictive salsa verde. The restaurant is not without its challenges. It is a small space and often only has one server.
