I was living in Appleton, WI 2018/2019 and absolutely loved this baby store and their salespeople!!! I'm surprised about some of the reviews, but this is a high-end store and they sell and recommend high-end products. If you want to buy cheap stuff and save money then go to target but don't expect any customer service or advice either!!! I learned so much from the salespeople which helped me decide which things I wanted to spend money on and which I could save on. They sell amazing baby mattresses, Halo bassinet and top end strollers. While I'm glad to be back in Chicago, I miss this store!! Anyways fast forward to 2020 and I'm expecting baby #2 and really want to buy more baby products but can't find them locally or this level of customer service. I just called up the store and they were able to find everything I need and ship it to me ASAP!!! They make everything very for their customers!!! I highly recommend this store even if you're not local as their salespeople are great and they carry such a great selection of products!!! read more

The Lullabye shop has a lot of great quality baby and toddler items-so nice to have this store in the valley! We were torn on which set to buy and had visited the store many times as we were trying to narrow our selection; each time we were assisted with helpful and honest advice. We finally decided on a nursery set and although we had found the full set a little cheaper at a larger retailer outside of Appleton they were able to work with us to match their price! Very rude and opinionated owner. Talks to clientele like they're idiots, and not respectful of parents desired on how to raise a child. I don't appreciate a business owner who tries to convince me I'm wrong about my desire to put my newborn in a bassinet. Same opinionated and rude owner (Steve) still there . Went there today to look for a glider for my wife and was asked why just a glider? And why we didn't buy all our baby furniture at the lullaby shop? He said that the $600 crib we bought at Babies R Us was low-quality and probably made in China. And proceeded to explain in his own words that our baby won't be safe. We will never step foot in that store again. read more

First and Last Visit! I have always heard good things about the Lullabye Shop, but when I stopped in the store after work this week, my perception was changed almost immediately. This was my first and definitely last visit to the store. Let me start off by saying the individuals working at the store seem to like their jobs and do know a lot about the products they are selling. More or less it's the delivery of information and pushy opinions that put a bad taste in my mouth. I'll be a first time mom in May, and as you can imagine this is all new to me. I am still doing my research and trying to find the best baby items that work for my family, our budget and of course meet all safety expectations. So, when I told Steve, who by the way told me 70 times he didn't work on commission (which now I'm thinking he does), that a $1,600 crib and dresser are out of my price range at the moment (probably because I'm having a baby and have other items to buy..) he immediately asked where else I was shopping. Once I told him Babies R Us, Burlington, etc. he went off on a rampage on how unsafe their products are and how I shouldn't be purchasing items from either store. Needless to say, the conversation went south quick after he wouldn't leave me alone (by the way at this time I hadn't even had a chance to look at all the cribs yet!!). I told him politely that he was overwhelming me and that I just wanted have the chance to look at all the furniture, much less make a decision on the spot. This business has been around for a over 20 years so the expectation should be that they know how to treat and talk to moms and dads alike. I have never felt more uneasy and uncomfortable simply looking at baby furniture. Bottom line: don't make your customers uncomfortable! Learn how to speak to your audience and give them space if they ask for it. I am looking forward to purchasing my crib and additional baby furniture elsewhere! I'm honestly giving them one star because I have to pick 1-5. If there was a zero option I would select it. read more

I have now bought 2 furniture sets from the Lullabye shop. Our first Romina set we bought while living in WI and now we are expecting our second baby and our second set of Romina furniture is being set to Denver, CO via the Lullabye shop. I was so happy with my experience in WI that I called and spoke with David and he has been more than helpful in every aspect of the process! If we have a 3rd we will be back! read more

My husband and I went here the other week and we were helped by a man who puts together the furniture. He was great and helped us pick out then crib and dresser we wanted. We came back today to buy everything and we were helped by Steve. We had the WORST experience. I told him which pieces I wanted and he asked what color. When I said "white" he asked me why I would want white. I told him that's just what we want. He then proceeded to ask " what if you have a boy?" I told him we were having a boy. He then laughed and asked if we were going to name our boy Sue and what we are going to do when he is older because no one wants white furniture. We were both so insulted by these comments and will be doing our business elsewhere. read more

We've purchased from Lullabye Shop twice- once for all the goodies that come with a birth of a child and just recently to add to his bedroom set + purchase a bed. The store is meticulously laid out, organized, and designed in a way to allow a parent to get a good read on options available to them. The store isn't inexpensive, but neither are babies. I feel that LS not only carries top brands, but does their best to educate soon-to-be parents on products that may best serve their needs. I value the owner's opinions and insights and I feel at ease purchasing products from him over a Big Box Retailer. People seem to take offense that he offers opinions. Maybe they're just insecure in the products they've purchased. He's a subject matter expert and offers peace of mind in a pretty stressful time in life. I feel FULLY confident as a parent that I purchased top-tier products for my child- and we haven't questioned the investments since we've made them. read more

The quality and friendliness of staff is nice. They definitely try to up-sell so go in knowing a price point and do your research first. However, if you know you want a nicer quality item, they will have it and they are very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend but know your going to spend some money in there! read more

Great products knowledgeable staff. However, very unorganized in the back office with delivery dates and handling of customer complaints. We had to call them multiple times for products we already paid for. One product was actually in stock when we went there looking at a couple of different items. Our brand new crib was defective no apologies, the delivery guy was upset that we told him to take the crib and bring back a new one. read more

Every time I go to this store I get horrible customer service. The old lady doesn't know what she's talking about and doesn't listen to our needs as a potential paying customer. I love the Lullabye Shop. We shopped around for a carseat and stroller for our first baby and are very happy that we stopped in. They were very helpful and knowledgable about all the products available on the market. Since, we've purchased two more convertable carseats and all our baby #2's furniture from them. Now, I don't even waste my time shopping at other stores because I know I won't receive the same customer service and quality product any where else around Appleton. read more
