Commute traffic was very heavy and I was stressed with worry that my car would get struck by a inattentive driver before my tow would get there. Finally, a tow truck pulled up behind me. It was a big flatbed WILSON WAY TOW truck blocking my little car from a possible would-be errant driver. I was so relieved the truck was back there, but puzzled as to why he was behind me as I thought it was my requested tow. The tow driver approached me and asked if I was alright. I thank him for his prompt arrival and started to give him my card. He explained he was not with AAA but saw me and stopped to see if I needed help. That young man was named Oskar and he stayed parked behind my car until my own tow arrived to take me to safety. He chatted me up which quickly calmed my stress levels. I was impressed by his very long, braided, well groomed ponytail. I am so thankful for his kindness and thoughtfulness. I will recommend WILSON WAY TOW from this day forward to anyone needing a tow, knowing that this company employs such conscientious and customer service minded drivers.

Both my husband and I were stranded with our truck and travel trailer along hwy 99. I have AAA and couldn't get them to find anyone to get my trailer. My truck was no problem but I pay premium for trailer towing. My husband was left on the side of the freeway by the tow driver who AAA assigned to pick up our truck. He was in a Un-safe spot but he didn't want to leave our trailer behind until AAA found a towing company who could tow it. Unfortunately AAA doesn't have many contracted towing companies to work with, which left my husband there for 4+ hrs. The lady at Mach one towing stopped to see if my husband was OK and if he needed water. It was above and beyond what a typical towing company would do but she knew how scared I was for my husband out there on the freeway. They don't deal with AAA but she was on stand by just in case AAA couldn't find anyone. We almost paid out of pocket to use them and at the last minute AAA found someone in Sacramento. It's not something I would EVER want to deal with again and has taught me a lot about the issues with dealing with AAA. I would gladly use Mach one in the future and pay out of pocket for towing anytime.

The towing company claims to have "sold" it, but I've yet to receive a single shred of documentation proving that. To make matters worse, the owner received over $35,000 from my insurance but then demanded an additional $12,000 to release the truck back to me. I tried negotiating and asking for my truck back a few days after the insurance paid out, only for the owner to claim a week later that it had been "sold." When I asked for proof of the sale, he refused to provide anything and instead arrogantly laughed in my face, claiming the truck was sold for just $100--a laughable figure when considering the value of the truck's rims and tires alone. His exact words were, "Looks like you have a good court case." I've been calling for over 7 months, and most of the time, no one answers. When I do manage to get someone on the line, they brush me off with promises to "call me back"--promises that are never fulfilled. This company's actions are not just shady; they are predatory and insulting. They have no regard for people's property and seem to think they can play games with insurance money while treating customers like dirt. CHP should seriously reconsider their relationship with businesses like this. Do yourself a favor--stay far, far away from this company.

When we showed up at the arranged time for us to pick up the vehicles, no one was there. When we called Ali, the owner, he was irate and said he was on his way to the yard "to shoot us". When he finally got there he was screaming and getting into my husband's face with a bunch of threats. We ended up paying for the tow "service" so that we could get the vehicles back. The fact is they NEVER should have been towed in the first place. He literally STOLE the cars. And then threatened VIOLENCE when we went to retrieve them. There are too many alternatives than to use this disgrace.

It was very early and I had a business appointment coming up, so my choices were limited. I spoke to an unfriendly dispatcher or receptionist and was quoted 1 hour and $140. I felt $140 was a bit steep but I haven't needed a tow in a while and didn't have time to shop around. After an hour and 10 minutes I called back to see where the truck was. I was told it should be about 20 minutes more. When they finally got my car to the shop, they tried to upcharge me $10 for using a debit card. The same card they asked for over the phone when they gave me the quote. When I objected, the driver said they always charge $10 extra for cards. I pointed out this charge was never disclosed and it's illegal to charge someone a fee after the fact if it wasn't disclosed. The driver said it wasn't his problem so I called the company back and the guy that answered also insisted they were going to charge me the $10. He was rude and tried to talk over me. I told them that if the charge on my card is over $140, I will dispute it through my card company, and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I just looked at my account, and sure enough, they overcharged me.
