But most importantly, they understand the importance of good customer service -- which, through personal experience, I have found many gardening companies in this area do not. Unlike that jerk and his son, Lawn Care Plus crew are always honest, they do an excellent job on lawn maintenance. They do bigger jobs like cutting bushes and other growing things like a tree and a bush, once a year. Lawn Care Plus employees are the best, never leaving a mess. As the tenant for 20 years, I was very impressed. To prevent my cat from being freaked out by the loud mowers and blowers, Lawn Care Plus called me the day before they were coming. That was so appreciated so I could put kitty in one small room in her carrier with carrier door open and other places to hide in the closet, in order for kitty to feel safe. Lawn Care Plus also took care of the property across the street once I gave the new owner their information. They did a great job there as well for the new homeowner who lived in another city until he could fix that place up. The Lawn Care Plus Crew also took away huge loads of junk for that Owner in another town. This is junk that homeless people leave behind in their attempts to squat there in that vacant house. Of course, that was an extra charge, like yearly hedges and cut back.

Now I have had the opportunity to have them do some work for me and I am also very impressed. They have a gutter cleaning/repair/maintenance team. Our home was built 28 years ago and after trying to seal the corners and joints for years, I finally decided to have it done professionally. I am also almost 70 and did not want to clean the gutters anymore. They added two downspouts where there were low spots and where I noticed overflowing with the heavy rains. They also found one area where the original gutters were not installed properly which has caused rot. I am SO happy I hired them to work for me. With them discovering the improperly installed gutter, I will be able to get it repaired at a minimal cost instead of a major one. If you want work done and you want it done right, call Alves. From start to finish I received constant contact about when they were coming, how long it would take and what needed to be done.

I liked his happy profile with photo embracing pregnant partner, so I contacted him to meet and obtain a quote for trimming our trees. My wife and I appreciated the knowledge Reilly demonstrated as we walked around discussing our trees and shrubs, his know-how consistent with approach expressed by tree professionals elsewhere. Reilly's reasonable quote helped us decide to move forward. As agreed, he arrived with a hard-working assistant and they made admirable improvements in both front-yard and back. Our trees were trimmed with care so they'll thrive without intruding into other properties or damaging our structures, with Reilly consulting with us through progressive stages. So, we are pleased with all the trees' appearance afterwards. We also appreciate their clearing overhead invasive blackberry vines, as well as hazardous deadwood. We recommend Reilly Gurney highly to others in Northern Humboldt County who seek tree services in particular, and/or other landscaping work.
