I cannot say enough good things about Velocity Auto Care in La Marque…read more They were honest, professional, patient, and incredibly kind from start to finish. They took the time to diagnose my vehicle, didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs, and charged me fairly. In a world where many people dread taking a car to a mechanic, this team was a breath of fresh air. Now for the embarrassing part... I was driving my mom's car when the check engine light came on and the car quit running. Convinced it was something major, I had it towed to Velocity Auto Care. Even the AAA driver didn't realize what was actually wrong. The diagnosis? The car was out of gas. Completely out of gas. That's it. Gas. They could have easily made me feel foolish, but instead they treated me with grace. Special shout out to Mr Jason, he was kind, professional, respectful, and had me back on the road quickly. If you're looking for an auto repair shop that values honesty, integrity, and customer service, I highly recommend Velocity Auto Care. They've earned a customer for life.

While he had it, he also turned my rotors and installed new brakes on the front. I was stunned that all that -- parts and all -- was under $400. Price wise/ quality wise -- you can't beat it!! Because of road construction, these guys are a little hard to get to -- but it's worth the trip. Highly recommended!

We had gone to another place that had worked on it 3 times but, the problem persisted. We recommend Mel to all of our friends and family because he not only gives you the best service, but, he is very reasonable as well!

First and foremost, you do have to make an appointment before coming to the shop (you can't just walk in). However, Bonnie and Phil will try to fit you in when they can, and they really do care about your well being and vehicle. So make sure you call their shop and schedule an appointment; I found that out late but better late than never. I had them fix my AC unit on my 1997 Chevy S10. It wasn't blowing cool air and of course we gotta have air in the Texas summers. Within 5-6 hours, Phil was able to diagnose my problem, find a new hose, do a few tests, and fix my AC without having to spend boatloads of dollars. And before they proceed with any repairs, Bonnie will call you up with an estimate which includes parts and labor costs. From here on in, I'm gonna go here if I ever have a car problem or concerns about anything with either of my vehicles. Locals have been coming here for well over 20 years and I can see why. Highly recommended mechanic!
