A small but awesome bike shop. No shortage of cool kits to choose from (especially MAAP). Service was professional and chill.

We rented bikes from Daniel's and had a very poor experience from start to finish…read more The bikes were old, rusted, and poorly maintained. Multiple gears didn't work correctly, the brakes barely functioned, and one bike had flat tires that I had to inflate myself before we could even ride. The helmets provided were heavily worn, and the lock included with the rental was just a basic cable lock. The employee specifically warned us to lock the bikes carefully since we were going to the Santa Monica Pier. Unfortunately, the cable lock THEY provided was cut, and one of the bikes was stolen. After returning and showing them the cut lock, they charged us $225 for the stolen bike, plus still charged us the rental fee. I understand being responsible for stolen rental equipment, but charging $225 for a bike in the condition this one was in felt excessive and unreasonable. These were not high-end bikes -- they looked heavily used and poorly maintained. What made the situation worse was the attitude afterward. They even told us they were "being nice" by not charging us for the cut lock. Then, after we said we would not return, one employee offered us a gift card to come back, which honestly felt strange after charging us hundreds of dollars. Overall, the bikes were low quality, poorly maintained, and the handling of the situation left a bad impression. I would not recommend renting here.

The bikes were older and not in premium shape but the price is right and they worked just fine. I would definitely go back. Thanks Gregg!

Please read before getting your bike serviced here…read more I brought my bike in because my dropper post was not fully retracting. I was told it could be fixed and to give them a few hours. No quote or price estimate was provided at any point. About an hour later, I received a call saying the issue was fixed. When I asked how much the repair would cost, I was told, "Just bring cash." I asked again for the amount and was not given one. When I arrived to pick up my bike, I was then told the bike was not fixed correctly. Instead, the mechanic replaced my original cartridge with a smaller, lower-grade cartridge because it was what he had available. I was never contacted or asked for consent before my original part was swapped. When I tested the bike, the same problem was still present--the dropper post did not fully extend. I pointed this out, and the mechanic stated he could have installed the correct part, but used the replacement anyway. Despite the issue remaining unresolved, I was asked again if I had brought cash. Additionally, my emergency inner tube was missing when the bike was returned to me. This experience showed a lack of transparency, communication, and basic service standards. Customers should be cautious when dealing with the service department, especially regarding pricing, authorization of parts, and accountability.

Like sensors that weren't doing their job, which caused the bike to not work as it should. I know that new tech is never perfect. On every occasion that I needed help Bike Attack was there for me. I used that bike for 5 years and put 40000 miles on it. Bike Attack helped me above beyond the norm to reach that mileage with their technical excellence. I decided to change e-bike after achieving that mileage with the Stromer, this was 5 years ago. At that time Bike Attack didn't have anything that met my requirements for a new e-bike. I purchased an Bosch mid drive 28mph commuter e-bike. Yet when I needed technical help I went back to Bike Attack. They are the only guys I know that are friendly and have the technical knowledge to keep my e-bike. During these past 5 years Bike Attack have kept my e-bike running. I replaced, tires, chains, wheels, chain-ring, rear cassettes, brakes, lights. Everything that needed to be replaced was because of wear and tear. I now have more than 56000 miles on my second e-bike. Bike Attack is the only one I trust to keep me safe on the road.

They did provide the fenders though. Despite following his directions to email Bike Attack company regarding the suspension seat I've received no reply. I paid for the assembly, so today when I decide to take the bike out at night, I only had reflection light on the rear. Per specs on website and paper manual I should have had the Integrated StVZO light in the rear. I will be calling Bike Attack tomorrow to see if they can remedy. I will update. Update: I received an immediate response and were really helpful. My parts will be ordered from the manufacturer.
