I believe there were well over 200 MINI and mini's in attendance. We went on a near 100 mile cruise through Marin County, before looping back to BSSP for a BBQ. Lots of good times and great introduction to the MINI community. UPDATE: For 2007, BSSP has this new Motorby program in select cities: San Francisco, Chicago, Miami, and NYC. The program is simple, in these cities there are electronic billboard, when a MINI owner cruises by with a proximity keyfob, the billboard will display a custom message tailored to the owner. Very fun and ingenious. Since this is a pilot program, select owners in those cities have been given an email to opt-in to this program. The gentleman who came seemed great, but he didn't send me a quote. One week later, I hadn't heard anything from them. After calling to ask if I could get my quote, the Owner (I believe) told me that they may "take a pass," on our projects. When I asked why, she said they "do this all of the time." She sent a follow-up email blaming it on their schedule and workload, but I had not even given them a delivery schedule. It was a super disappopinting experience. My advice - if you plan on getting a quote from them for a commercial project, get quotes from competitors as well. Be aware that this company evidently chooses to "take a pass" on projects often.
