I had to ask someone if I could put my items in the dressing room as she didn't even acknowledge my presence and that I was holding more than 1 item in my hand (the store was not crowded at the time), When at the counter purchasing my items (which totaled around $300) neither said "thank you" - they both seemed bothered or weren't even courteous enough to say "have a nice day" - they both just turned around and left the counter without a word. I am in retail myself and found the whole experience a total "turn-off" - if we treated our customers that way, we would have no customers. Very unfortunate - I will think twice about returning to shop at Apricot Lane Boutique.

When I arrived for my appointment Denise had not made a note of it so was not expecting me. She glanced at my dresses and after literally 30 seconds refused to take any of them and I thought was very rude. All my items were Boden dresses, bought in the last year or two, some had only been worn a couple of times. They were all in very good condition and most had been dry cleaned since I had worn them. Before I went into the store, I called and was told I didn't need an appointment.I was coming in from out of town. The lady on the phone was very dismissive and unconcerned. I went to the store several days later and was given a reasonable wait time. While browsing, a man, whom I now know is the owner, approached my friend and said he heard me ask about getting measured for a bra and wanted to make sure I was going to buy one. REALLY? What an utterly rude and base inquiry. Couldn't you think of anything better to say to a potentially new customer? The customer service is just awful - very self impressed crew. I left immediately and did very well elsewhere. Stay away!
