E-Bar is literally the worst ever! They're so freaking rude. I've ordered through their online E-Bar multiple times and there wasn't any issues but recently I've ordered and waited AN HOUR. A FREAKING HOUR FOR 3 COOKIES THAT THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE AND WERE SO RUDE ABOUT IT. The manager was not helpful what so ever. Not sure if this review is applicable to the entire store but these 5 stars are specifically for Kennisha who helped me and my mother today at the makeup counter - I wish I could give her 10 stars. Kennisha went above and beyond to help me find the right products and she was so bright, kind, and genuine throughout the experience. She is the ultimate example of customer service - she listened to my needs, and she was meticulous with the way she handled keeping the beauty products clean. I just love Nordstrom's. Unfortunately, this store caters to size 0-4. I am not nor I ever will be a 0-4. However Nordstrom on line has huge amount of inventory on line and you can return it to the store no charge. Just some basic rules if it is from the rack you have 90 days from delivery date (however if it is more than 90 days from order date and less than 90 days from delivery date the system says it will give you a gift card but ends up placing the credit back. on the account) if it is from Nordstrom (on Nordstrom.com there is no specific time limit stated) but if it is from a different retailer on Nordstrom.com you only get 90 days. That being said I have returned many things bought from Nordstrom unused, because sometimes you need to feel the fabric and if the fabric is not good then it is not worth trying on Or you don't like the pattern or the fit. Every time I have gone Into this store with a return the people who have helped me (even though it is not their department) have been nice and friendly. And treated me just so nicely. Never made me feel bad for returning. One night I had so much to return the store closed and the young lady didn't try to rush me out and was just so nice. Excellent customer service and I get my parking validated. Can't do better than that. Love this Nordstrom read more

This location is OK. It's understaffed and otherwise the staff was unfriendly. The selection was meager. The shoe section left so much to be desired that I shopped what I needed online while there which was as equally needed as it was counterintuitive. I absolutely love Nordstrom but I'm today years old finding out not all Nordstrom's are created equal. read more

Suffering cabin fever due to the shelter at home pandemic, I jumped at the chance to go shopping with my wife and kids when we learned that this place was open in CT. The wide open spaces and the sweet smell of department store air conditioning brought back much nostalgia. Most people don't realize that some of these stores are open, because it was a ghost town. I really didn't mind because COVID-19 is still as contagious as ever, so the lack of other people was a blessing. The store handed out face masks and sanitizers at every entrance. It was super clean. Time will tell if they can keep it up as more people start showing up. read more

This updated review is based solely on my in store experience today. I bypassed the restaurant today. On entry everything was wonderful. My first stop was the women shoes. I asked one gentleman for assistance - whom then directed me to Keith H. Keith was wonderful. He was polite, prompt, and friendly . In no time I had the shoe I wanted, and we were at the register going through with my exchange. When I thought I'd forgotten the receipt at home, he informed me he'd be able to look up the purchase. Thankfully, I had the receipt in the box. On to the third floor for men's. Peter H. Made my day! He knew the brands, he knew what I wanted. He was able to locate two items I wanted in store. The third item was not in store, which he ordered online while I was at the counter. Peter, was knowledgeable in the brands which that particular location carried, and online. He was all smiles, engaging, and didn't wait for me to ask for assistance. Rather, he was proactive, and truly went over and beyond to make sure my experience was lovely. Back to the first floor. Peter located a Mario Badescu duo set I wanted in store. He offered to go downstairs to get for me. However, since I would be exiting from the first floor. I was able to go downstairs and fetch myself. When I arrived on the first floor, I found the product I was seeking, and picked up a lip liner I didn't know I needed until that very moment. In no time of my decent downstairs I was immediately offered assistance. I was directed to Andesia R., who enthusiastically responded to all my questions. She was smiles, and polite. Based on my encounter today with all 6 people I interacted with, I'd say on the third try - my shopping experience felt like what a Nordstrom's shopping experience should be. The other two visits to this location - I was literally left scratching my head. Today, it appeared they brought out their stars. As time goes by I hope everything 360 improves for this location. Today's shopping experience was five stars, in regards to interaction & experience. I didn't try the restaurant today because of prior experiences. Maybe next time. read more

Had an amazing experience today thanks to Josh and Shana for helping with a slight alteration for a denim jacket I bought for my boyfriend. I originally wanted to exchange the jacket but once I explained the issue, Josh offered to run down to the alteration department and have it fixed. The customer service at Nordstrom can't be beat! I went last week and the ladies at the makeup counter were equally as helpful and offered my mother samples of a Charlotte Tilbury primer she wanted to try. My only concern is that the curbside pickup isn't that clear and I wish there was a note on their website to indicate where it is. read more

I guess the days are gone when Nordstrom was known for good customer service. After spending about $250 for two pairs of slacks that were supposed to be delivered to the South Norwalk store for alterations, I was charged the full amount, but the pants were delivered to a store on the West Coast. The pants were supposed to be re-shipped to Norwalk store, but they never arrived. After calling the main customer service number, and the store itself, I was first offered a one dollar courtesy discount for the inconvenience. I then waited another two weeks, but the pants still never arrived. The staff of the Norwalk store is either not smart or not empowered to get anything done. I finally gave up on the runaround and got my credit card to reverse the charge. A day later in Nordstrom called to say they would agree to refund the original charge. Go figure. read more

Buyer beware. I purchased a Fendi watch from Nordstrom Rack online and was told I could come here to get links taken out. When I arrived they asked me for proof of purchase. I showed them the purchase history on the app and the email showing the purchase summary. They told me that I needed the actual receipt. I asked them to call the Nordstrom credit card or look it up on my account. The girls then asked me how many links to take out because they can't be 6 feet and I said I wasn't sure. Then the manager comes down and says they won't remove any links on a Nordstrom rack watch because if they "damage it they can't replace it." She told me to go to KOHLS OR ZALES! Isn't that the same thing? If they break it, they can't replace it either? Also, why am I paying another company to remove links from my $1,000 watch I bought from Nordstrom?!?!? She also told me that they "damage watches all the time" so I would be careful to buy watches here or have anything done. I will admit I was very angry but this is just totally unacceptable. And if they "damage" the watch and break it, couldn't they just refund my card? read more

This Nordstrom is ok. It's kind of small compared to other Nordstrom's like in NYC and White Plains, but as far as I know it is the only one so far in this area. The store is clean and set up well. Stuff is expensive which is to be expected. They have a restaurant inside which was very busy when I was there around lunch time. The associates over all seem confused and a bit unhelpful. This may be because the place is new and people are adjusting. I think in the next few months they will improve their service. All in all if you need something from a Nordstrom and you are in this area I would say check it out. read more

I used to love coming here when it first opened. The staff was never pushy and was always friendly. As I'm approaching age 40, the classic, old school phrase of, "things change" is proving more and more true. As with many others these days, I was looking for a break from cabin fever. I came to this store and have never felt so pressured to make a purchase in the cosmetics department. Sales people were following me and made me feel very uncomfortable. I politely told several associates (multiple times) that I just wanted to browse and would be happy to let someone help me if I wanted to buy anything. I wound up leaving the store and am disappointed I used time that I can never get back. I'll end by saying I'm converted to online shopping, even though I never thought that would be my primary method of shopping. Alas, another example of how things change. My sister, husband and myself went to this new sono location and had a wonderful day!! The store is bright and cheerful and has an e-bar in the middle of the main level where my husband sat in a comfy chair, read his book, drank coffee - all while sis and I bought lots of makeup from lovely sales associates- we headed up to women's clothes- not a huge selection, but beautiful - we both purchased wedding outfits that are gorgeous and then headed down to shoes- sis bought adorable dress shoes at reasonable price- I cannot wait to return on my next visit to Connecticut- for now I think Pentagon store needs a bit of updating!! read more

I had a very bad experience with the Nordstrom men's department and a STANTT order. My order of 5 semi-custom STANTT shirts was delayed and when it finally arrived the sleeves were 2+ inches shorter than expected. I requested to have the shirts remade (which took an add'l 3 weeks) and again the same problem with the sleeves. 2 shirts in the second batch were bad but not horrible, so I decided to keep them, but wish I hadn't. This fiasco, which caused me to visit the store during 4 separate occasions was a was a huge waste of time...and the sales team at Nordstrom did not offer anything to make it right. In fact, they very conveniently refunded the amounts only for the least expensive shirts although I returned some of the more expensive ones. Stay away from STANTT and you might be better off at Bloomingdales. read more

Nordstrom needs to do a better job of advertising the Light Salon. It's not on the on the website for Norwalk. I have had a nice pedicure and tHe facials are amazing. I was the only customer on the first floor this evening. No one in makeup, shoes or the cafe. At 8:40 I walked up to coffee bar. Two girls behind the counter pretended not to see me. I went around to the other side to order a fruit smoothie. She said it was too late and they were getting ready to close. Really?? How long does it take to make a smoothie? Why stay open to 9:00PM if you can't serve the customer? A store so empty shouldn't turn down money. read more

On October 16, 2019, my cousin and I had a wonderful "Ladies Day"at this store. My beauty consultant Gina Larricia put together a facial prep with Annmarie of Sisley , Gina applied our makeup and then we had a delightful meal at Bazille where the service was excellent. The facial and the makeup were at no charge. The store is great fun for wandering. Bright open spaces - well designed. The store is easy to get to - you can see it from 95. Gina is genius at wellness and beauty. She understands our skin, hair and products from the cellular level up. I am enlisting all my friends and relatives so I can have this experience often. read more

Decent collection of designer sneakers however, doesn't really have the matching " gear " to go with them. Wish this Nordstrom would step their game up as The Westchester isn't too far away from them. Been here on multiple occasions and still have yet to find anything worth while of a drive. I usually come shopping alone but this time I decided to bring my daughter. We went to the Ebar and a young lady named Char took our order she was very nice and helpful. While she was making my daughters ice storm she asked can she watch. Char said yes and let her watch and count as the blender went on. When I visited this Nordstrom store I was harassed by how many workers there were. Everyone is starring assuming your stealing and it's a very uncomfortable environment. Knowing how this store is I was very disappointed in my visit. They need to tell their staff to not be obvious with watching people so people don't feel like this. They also need to tell the 65 employees to stay home if they know they are not gonna be busy (Monday-Friday). read more
