Came here for a long weekend getaway in Saugatuck. It has an excellent location, very walkable to downtown. I felt very safe at night. There is free parking in the back which is a huge plus. It is located on a dead end street so it makes it quiet.
Before we arrived, I received an email from Sarah, the owner asking if we had any food allergies as she makes breakfast. She also wanted to check that we were able to go upstairs, as that was where our room was located. We had the door code to get in because we were going to get there after Sarah left. Once we got there, I realized I have stayed here before under a different name and ownership.
It was a steep climb upstairs, but totally managable. We found our room clean and well appointed. It had a refrigerator with plenty of cold water. There were also plenty of towels in the room. It was very cute and the bed was comfortable. Our bathroom was very large. Sarah said the upstairs used to have 2 bedrooms, but they converted the small one to a large bathroom with a large closet. So our bedroom/bathroom were spacious.
The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Plenty of choices and nice fresh. The food was placed. in the beautiful kitchen and you served yourself. Then the people staying at the B&B ate breakfast on the front porch.
I highly recommend the Luckystone Inn. Sarah is a gracious host. read more
