Nice drivers but the beer is always warm. One would think to carry a cooler with them if ordering delivery. I have not been to the store. But I know beer should never be allowed to become warm as it affects the taste once cooled. But usually quick delivery. read more

I've been ordering delivery for the last few years prior to covid. My usual delivery store through Drizzly Is Gary's Liquor - through two moves and different locations. After being furloughed due to covid I moved to a place closer to family. I went to order like I usually do. I actually bypassed Gary's since they were a mile or two further away. What a mistake! My old place had a weird address where I always made sure to give extra written instructions and everyone who delivered told me they were thankful for it. My new place is an established complex (my brother, his GF, coworker veteran renters) at a major intersection. It's a small complex with clearly marked buildings and map at the front, no gates. When my delivery from Lucky came, the man was obviously annoyed, as was I as a single mom with a toddler who were waiting outside since it was getting dark and the delivery was taking a bit and it's a new place for us. He hardly greeted us, dumped the box with hardly any regard, and told me I should leave better directions next time. I tried to ask him about specific directions as to make it easier for next time (I'm used to doing this and work retail so I always want to make things easier for everyone) but he brushed me off and my daughter who tried to say hi. Additionally, it's Covid-19 time and he was not wearing a mask. As a small business owner I consider this business to have failed all around. I'll be ordering from the place I used to-Gary's Liquor. They are worth the few extra dollars for their professionalism, competency, and transparency. read more

This is the best service that anyone can imagine especially supporting a local Arizona business. The selection is perfect for me I only drink Crown and Titos which they had in stock. Only drawback on that was they did not have the 1.75 of Titos, but I will not knock that one bit, because the service was amazing. I placed the order at 5:19 and and by 5:50 my order was here. They quoted a 45 minute window and beat it. I can even rely on Pizza service to be that quick. The prices are reasonable for the service you receive when the delivery is free and as much as I insisted on giving a tip the driver declined to receive it because they are store hourly employees not working for a tip. I wish he would have accepted for the excellent work they did. One thing as a tip have your DL ready even if you look old enough because they have to fill out state paperwork to ensure they are not delivering to minors. I highly recommend. read more

Competitive pricing even compared to Total Wine n spirits. Check their rolling bins once in awhile. Beers nearing the expiration date get tossed in these bins at an exceptional price. I've got nice IPA beers here as low as $3 for a 6 pack at times especially when they just want them gone. I've got Moosehead and Harp lagers for $3 a six pack (2 for $1) bin. lucky's has been amazing during this pandemic! free delivery in the coronado neighborhood. their bourbon selection is really good, they even get some nice allocated bottles and make them available on their online shop. their beer selection is nice, maybe not the focus here, but the local selection isn't bad. recently i was able to order a limited release from prairie artisan that other shops sold out of quickly. while there are other beer shops i'll continue to support, lucky's is my go-to for whiskey and other spirits and i can certainly find a decent beer and score some limited releases from time to time. read more

Incredible fast delivery. I live in North Phoenix and delivery arrived in 35 minutes. I know it was the middle of the day so no traffic problems but it is at least a 25 minute drive. Next time I order Pizza and am also going to order the Beer and see which arrives first. read more

Not wanting to leave the house but still needing some booze for the night, I turned to google to find out who could be my best friend for the day. Turns out, Lucky's gets that spot, possibly forever. Being from a small town in Illinois, there is no such thing as delivery outside of a pizza joint. You want beer? Gotta go get it. Now that I live in a bigger area, still 16 miles from Lucky's, I'm able to get what I want delivered in a remarkably short time frame. The delivery driver got here so quickly that I thought i had an additional 30 minutes to put on pants. I answered the door with my shorts on inside out. That's quick. Not to mention he was very polite, and seemed diligent in his wanting to know how they could make their service easier to use. Not something you would expect from a booze delivery. The website was a little user unfriendly on mobile, but still easy enough to use and find what I wanted.
