Gary's looks out for the strugglers in life. I met a homeless girl who was telling me about how her boyfriend was abusing her and how the kind folks at Gary's seen him treat her like she was a POS. She told me how they just gave her a fresh cold drink on the house, and asked if she was ok and if she needed anything. Who does that? Circle k doesn't. A.m. p.m. doesn't. Walmart doesn't. Gary's does tho. I have multiple stories from folks I've met that say Gary's has helped them in sum way. Gary's has helped me multiple times. And i just got back from there and i was short 4 cents, he just waved me on. Most places tell you to scram. Oh, and i only mentioned "too bad you don't carry chorizo", next thing i know, there's chorizo chubs on the shelf. How cool is that? They went out of their way to a grocery store and picked up sum chorizo. Was it JUST for me? I dunno, but i do know it was not in there until i started asking. This place is wonderful, especially if you struggle. I love this store. Without this place sum of the bad days would be worse. Hey Gary, right on. read more

Absolutely recommend. Adult slushies are amazing! Glad they're back in full affect! Lol

I usually come here evening time...why is a 12 pack cost more when the old creep with glasses is working? he really tried to charge me 19 bucks today for a 12 pack of Tecates. said " well everything went up" I go at night time and it's like 13 bucks. yo what's his deal? is he stealing money? the owner need to fire that asshole. the ladies that work here are great. also I went to circle K and a 12 pack was 11 bucks. I went a month ago also..he tried to sell me warm ass beer too. Yo what's the deal with that guy? read more

New people, disrespectfully asked me what I wanted and then left as soon as I started asking what I wanted, then said my card was the problem, clearly it was the machine. I miss my old people that worked there these new ones no bueno. read more

Never received my online order, and two days, still no refund. I ordered a day before the m.i.a order and that order was missing an item. Probably a reflection of the shopper rather than the company. Or could be both. I hate being stolen from. read more

Gary's Liquor - I guess my order was a $1 short so instead of simply cancelling my order, this store or delivery service not sure which one, took my $ - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Overpriced skunked beer that they clearly buy in larger packs and then cut it down and paste together with tape. Uhhh insane

I've had plenty of good experiences ordering from Gary's in DoorDash. Unfortunately, this order I just received was covered in mold on the box and the bottles. I just want to make people aware that they should always check what they receive and hopefully Gary's can ensure this type of quality issue does not happen again. read more

I've been looking for blueberry skyy vodka and no where has had it! Well my husband called Gary's and he had it! He said " If I don't have it they don't make it!" I'm so happy! Thanks Gary's!! read more

Says it opens @8am but that's not true. I've been here for the last 15 mins waiting and nothing

Super nice employees and they deliver without a third party app. The one downside is the alcohol can be kind of expensive in comparison to other locations so be sure to ask about pricing before you set up delivery. The first night I ordered from them I ordered a handle of vodka and when it arrived they tried to charge $50. Same bottle $29 at the store. They are competitive with other products so it's not a systemic problem but best to ask up front about pricing so you don't get stuck. Other than that even when super busy everybody is very personable, take orders quickly with fast delivery. read more

I always forget this neighborhood gem is here. I always go to thebig box storesfor my drinkery. But theother evening I really didn't feel like driving to Camelback or doing cart racing at the local Fry's or Costco. Stopped in to Gary's, got my michelada ingredients, plus a tip from theextremely helpful cashier on how to make them more tasty, and I was back home in less than 15 minutes. AND they have a drive thru?!!! No brainer! read more

I use these guys via Drizzly. You order on the app, they show up with your stuff within an hour. And...that's it.

Huge selection of everything especially wine. Extremely friendly staff and good prices. Quick service and helpful with recommendations. Will be back if I'm in town again read more

The best. Friendly people and fast service! Worth it over Lucky's. As a single female I always feel comfortable when they arrive.

I ordered from Drizly earlier and the alcohol came from this spot. My close friend is in AZ for her birthday and I'm out here in CA. Placed the order and it was delivered to their house in less than an hour! In a freakin birthday gift bag. So glad I came across the site and this liquor store. Thank you! read more

i stood at the counter for 5 mins with no one in the store to help me while picking up an order for uber eats . then when i left the cashier came out to the parking lot and stopped me from driving away accusing me of stealing a 3 dollor shot read more

The app had some issues, but called in and the man, whom I assume was Gary, took my order, was very pleasant to deal with, and got everything I asked for out to me in well under an hour. Wonderful service like this will get five stars from me every time. If the app gives you issues, call in. Thanks Gary! read more

Absolute worst customer service. I bought a bottle as a gift for a friend. Not realizing I purchased the wrong item, they refused to return or exchange the product. The manager kept stating it was illegal to return liquor in the state of Arizona. I spoke to a lawyer and it is NOT illegal. They have no signage in the store not at the bottom of the receipt saying that all sales are final. Never shopping here again. read more

I had better service at Gary's Liquor than I've had at any restaurant in town. Seriously, shop here! The owner should be proud of the employees here because there are very few establishment these days that provide a welcome, a smile, and genuine care to find what you want. read more

I love my neighborhood store. I have lived most if my life in small towns. And I am use to being remembered and treated friendly when I walk in a store. In the 2 tears I've been back in Phoenix I believe this is the first place to make me feel welcome and at home. So a big shout out to every one that works at Gary's Liquor!! read more
