We have had across the board experiences with local groomers - from "Don't bring her back," to "must have strong medication." I liked the last groomer personally but Mia never looked as nice as I thought she could look. Her face hair was always left long and her eyes disappeared. Her tail was left ungroomed. Sally, of 'For pets Only', took her in, and must have quite a way with animals. Mia had only half of her medication and did great. Mia has never looked better! We have finally found our groomer!

Every other option consisted of kennels with scheduled exercise and social breaks. At Sama Dog my Sparky was quickly and easily incorporated into the home life of Amanda and Renee and their two dogs, Violet and Bennie. Amanda listened carefully to my concerns and desires for Sparky as he had recently been experiencing significant separation anxiety with all the changes in our lives. She sent me daily videos and messages. Sparky slept in the bed with her and Renee as he is used to sleeping with me. She worked on methods to calm his barking and anxiety. She makes healthy dog biscuits which he loves. I could tell her attention and care was focused on Sparky's well-being. It was if he was away at a private camp. Sama Dog is any pet owner's dream and source of peace-of-mind. Sparky ended up staying 8 nights due to extenuating circumstances. When I picked him up he was clean, healthy and very happy. His barking and anxiety has noticeably lessened. I am so grateful for Amanda. I can 100%, unequivocally recommend Sama Dog to any pet owner!!

He was recommended by another pet sitter who was too busy to help me and he responded right away, was very professional, and best of all showed up and did exactly what I asked him to do and more. I think my pets liked him better than they like me - although he isn't a slouch about rules and discipline. He just has that something, so I guess his business name is perfect for the service he renders. I asked him to first come to my home but now that I know him I would feel comfortable boarding my pets with him as well.

I called around to other veterinarian offices and no one was willing to give my cat medication for her anxiety to get her to her appointment but when I called BGV, they were so nice and had the idea of requesting my cats records from her previous vet so that way she can be prescribed anxiety meds for her first visit appointment which I truly appreciate so much. The staff was super welcoming and answered all my silly questions. The dr I had, I believe dr Jill (?), was super friendly and helpful! The vet nurse Catherine was also very nice and helpful. Would recommend this place.

I think these vets are ok. They definitely have helped me in emergency situations. The only thing I…read moredon't like is the tone can be condescending from the vets and like many other vet clinics recommend hills and purina. Certified dog nutritionist backed food? Maybe. But have you actually read the ingredients? Do you know that if you were to do a little research you'd find those dog and cat food options are some of the absolute worst? Corn, wheat and byproducts. Highly processed and very inflammatory. Please go outside the indoctrination box. Kibble is so bad in itself but these dog food companies should be condemned. Thank you for taking care of my animals when I needed you. I discovered a much better option for my cat with crystals in his bladder and he tested negative for crystals recently. Took him to another vet and she said to keep doing what Im doing. Urine acidifier and low phosphorus wet food. Weruva for the win.
