Specifically asked for a 30 minute neck and shoulder massage for both my wife and myself. During the massage they continually tried to upsell foot massage, ,leg massage, upgrading to a 2 hour massage, etc. totally wasn't feeling it after they tried to start massaging my legs when I didn't ask for it. The ones who received a foot massage from the guys reported that they were almost too intense. Didn't know that they had other types of massage since those were on the other side. It would be good to have a menu of service on both sides so it is clear what is offered and the price. It would help upsell too. I thought the sign outside said 10min foot massage for $15 or something, but it was a 20min foot massage for about $25. The location was great although it wasn't very obvious since there was no big sign. Nice to stop and relax from all the walking. The only big recommendation is to change out the towels between customers who are lying down doing the foot massage. Or if you want to be scientific, they're referred to as "Reflexology". This means that: 1) there is a language barrier. So don't expect profound conversations about Plato and the nuanced history of New Orleans. Stick to the topic: what type of massage, how long, and whether they accept credit 2) most places on this street accepts credit but everyone prefers cash. So make sure you bring some! 3) Tell them what you want (exactly how you want it). At the end of the day, this is a massage place. So you can tell them "soft" or "hard" until you find a nice medium. 4) TIP. Don't be that person who doesn't tip for services rendered. The foot massage was OK. But when I told them "harder", it instantly became 10x better. So speak up! The lady who started my leg massage even called "special forces" -- this husky fellow who broke me in half and put me back together again. Great massage by Song (male therapist). I would've voted 5 stars but the outside noise we experienced due to the open doors was disruptive. However as far as massages go take all my money honey. I got a 90 min full body with a 30 min foot reflexology and man did he tear my back up in a great way. I came in here with a stiff neck and shoulders and walked out feeling like a marshmallow. I've been getting massages since the 80's all over the country and my massage here was the worst I've ever had. The towel was never removed for skin contact, no oil used, no varied techniques used, never turned me over for abdomen or quad massage and feet were not touched.
