And helped me i want this time around. If you have a loved one that needs a facility like this, I suggest you send your loved one here. Not all of them do they care, and work hard to get your loved one back up and moving. They're a great set of people.

I notice a difference in my pain level as well as my mobility after each session with them. They are all very knowledgeable and informative, as well as kind and respectful. I have learned more about my recovery here than anywhere. They continue to give me a realistic outlook of what I can expect, and that is very valuable to me in a medical field where nobody seams to want to tell you reality. I was a very active person before my back pain hit me extremely hard seven months ago. I want so desperately to get back to the activity level I was at and I hear all the time how you can just be right back at it in two weeks, four weeks, six weeks after surgery. This was not even close to reality for me. I just appreciate the truth and a realistic approach. I finally feel good in my body again and I am getting stronger with each physical therapy appointment. I have been a patient there a few times and oddly enough, the therapist had no recollection of me…read more I understand that they have a lot of patients, but I had been there a number of times within a few years and they couldn't remember me. The first time I went there, Jamie was there and she was great. I didn't know that I would be going there and handed off to new people every time and they would have interns who were there temporarily and each therapist would be working with multiple patients at a time. The individual care is not great. I have a huge problem with one therapist in particular and that's the reason why I'm writing this review. I don't know how she can continue to do what she does and no one else does anything about her behavior. Toni is a very outspoken and unprofessional person who has said things in front of the whole gym that actually made me uncomfortable as a patient. What ultimately made me upset was how she treated me as an individual by telling me that I wasn't really hurting and that I needed to go to therapy because I needed to get over it. When I looked up her training and how long she has been working, I couldn't believe that she had the blind confidence to tell someone twice her age and double her education level and experience that I needed mental therapy for my physical health and pain management! She needs to learn how to manage herself and stick to what she's been trained in at Green River Community College.

I found everyone, from housekeeping to the business office, very polite, kind, and understanding of my needs. All staff members were easy to talk with. The food was great, and there were always two choices for lunch and dinner. After-hour snacks were in good supply. The head cook made it a point to visit the floor and ask how the food was. All the nurses and aides were very professional and answered my call light in a timely manner most of the time. The Physical and Occupational Therapy Staff worked out a plan for me to concentrate on the areas needing the most improvement. With the program outlined for me, I could measure my day-to-day Improvement. Even though I had to work hard in the Therapies, it was almost like a country club. There were activities every day, bingo twice a week, and a daily newsletter. I would highly recommend Advanced Post Acute to anyone needing their services.

While I was there I noticed his call button go unanswered so I brought it to their attention. While I was there - they were fine - as soon as I left they started ignoring again. Things are just in such disrepair that he needs to call for assistance. The remote on his bed doesn't work. The toilet seat slides off the bowl... then there are the two screaming men across the hall. It's terrifying for anyone to listen to that. I just want them to fix their things, and answer The call buttons. I know patients abuse it, but in this case he got hurt because of the neglect.

The ladies (especially Ebony) at the front desk are friendly, efficient, and are willing to work with a client if there's an issue, as long as it's quickly resolved (I forgot my wallet on my first visit). As I come from afar, it's appreciated when the staff is able to work with me if the traffic is horrible (beyond my control, although I give myself 1.5 hrs to commute from south of Olympia, normally 45 min. drive). A++ The therapy technologists are always ready to help, know exactly which exercises to do, how to smoothly transition from one to the next, making it an easier process, and creates a routine for patients to follow- kind of like learning a choreography. My therapist Lani has been invaluable: immediately immersing me in the scientific knowledge regarding my condition, ecstatically answering my many minute detailed questions, and giving me as much detailed information as my brain could absorb (she's passionate about sharing info). This valuably deepened my time, investment, & working with her has been a life changing experience for the better, as I'm able to understand my condition, limits, & how to overcome them in healthy & productive ways vs. continuing to damage & push thru pain. She is VERY GOOD at making hand braces & ensuring they fit right. I had a major plumbing issue a few days after receiving them, and after 3 days of shoveling, my hands & wrists were irritated, but not thoroughly trashed due to the braces' protection & the exercises I had been doing to strengthen my fingers. The next day my hands recovered after a heated tens session, exercises, and adhesion scraping Lani did after carefully evaluating the damage. Overall, I 100% recommend SSPT & IRG to anyone who may need the services they offer. It was definitely worth my time commuting the 1.5 hrs thru bad traffic to get there. It seems important to share our own experiences with Pacific Medical Center in Puyallup because everyone in this office has been truly caring, kind and compassionate to my Grandmother. From the very first visit with my Grandmother's Primary Care Physician, Dr. Kim, we immediately realized this was personalized health care. Dr. Kim always spent the extra time listening to my Grandmother's concerns and determining what could be done to assist my Grandmother. When appropriate, Dr. Kim ordered additional tests and consistently followed up with the results. Besides providing excellent medical care, we appreciated Dr. Kim's personable demeanor. He always remembered to use each of our names when we visited the office and he patiently went through our usual list of questions that we brought to each of our visits. This level of patient care did not end with Dr. Kim. Dr. Kim's nurse was equally helpful and caring towards my Grandmother. She often spent extra time caring for my Grandmother during our visits, calling to answer questions for my Grandmother, following up with the doctor and scheduling appointments so my Grandmother could be seen for more urgent concerns sooner. Lastly, the front desk staff in this office remained patient when we came across challenges with my Grandmother's insurance plan. Additionally, they worked hard to patiently handle insurance billing questions, schedule follow up appointments and answer questions for my Grandmother. They were always professional and respectful which meant a lot to us. We really could not have asked for anything more from Pacific Medical Center in Puyallup. She let me know that she sees a lot of people and doesn't have the time to find out what my symptoms are from. She did not perform an exam or ask me hardly any questions. She couldn't have cared less and was extremely condescending. It's heartbreaking to be in so much pain and pay for that type of experience. I was in the room for under 5 minutes proscribed something that she changed several times and sent on my way to figure it out.
