Review of Lucid Lending : Mortgage Broker I would like to share my experience as a client of Lucid Lending who put my loan together for the mortgage on my new home in Asheville, Nc. My broker Matthew (Ozzie) Ozwald was excellent . As soon as I explained what I needed and what i was trying to accomplish ,. he knew exactly where to go and what to do . I needed to close in a short period of time and anybody who has gone through the process of getting a mortgage knows that this is not an easy process . Credit scores , tax returns (hmm I wonder if president trump would even qualify) 1099's , work history , where your money came from where it is going , bank statements , brokerage account statements letters from accountants etc. his team and processor Leah Price were right on in getting my information to the lender and getting the loan closed on time . I am a numbers person. I am an option trader ( 20 plus years on the exchange) and now an educator in that field . We closed on a house in Asheville in late 2021. We were first-time home buyers, so we were a little nervous about buying in such a tight market. However, Lucid Lending made the loan process incredibly easy. Ozzie and Nick were great to work with from pre-approval all the way until closing day. They were super responsive anytime we needed to get in touch with them and they always took time out of their schedule to answer any questions that we had during the loan process. The pre-approval portal that Lucid has on its website is one of the easiest to use out of all of the lenders that we looked into.
