My "buyer's" agent (assigned by the agency broker after I called in for a different agent) had a…read morestrange idea of how to represent me. When I saw that she had handed me a listing out in the country but which her own agency showed as being R-1 (the strictest residential classification). she refused to make even one phone call to get accurate information. She told me that a 3rd-party business acquired the background for her agency, and she was not going to do any more on that subject. I did buy the house but later a single call to the county about zoning instantly got me the true situation: no restrictive zoning but the entire subdivision has usage restrictions on file, put in place 25 years ago by the original owner/developer. Luckily I didn't have plans to operate a business out of my house, because that violates the restrictions. Then, "my" agent sat as far away from me as possible at the closing table, so unprofessional.

Her anxiety and stress with a high dollar transaction such as ours was a daily conversation. At one point, she even claimed that she has fiduciary duty to 'both' sides - a comment that is unusual to come from a realtor. Beware of Teresa offering rebates to get the deal. She offered us one in the initial call knowing our intention purchase, confirmed it through texts and phone calls. Just before closing, she chose to remain silent of this offer and then blamed it on a "misunderstanding" after the deal closed. Her broker stepped in to resolve through a 3-way conference call, but Teresa refused to attend. We felt misled and saw this as predatory practice. Please vet 2-3 realtors before you find one and not repeat our mistake.

I was lied to over and over about an inspection date. The tenants broke the no pet contract with no repercussions, there was even feces in last inspection report pics on inside of my home. People were living there that shouldn't have been and not on list, which I brought to management's attention and nothing ever done. These people did nothing, but collect a check and allow my home to be trashed. One of the brokers even made me sign release form before she gave me my security deposit. They also tried charging me for the enormous amounts of trash left in front, back yard and in home and storage shed! I am a Christian and have no reason to lie and wish I was leaving a positive review. A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE THAT COST ME THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!!!
