He picked us up at the dock in Positano shortly before sunset. We had a short sunset cruise before dinner while he told us about some of the local area and we chatted about our lives. We were able to sit on the couch on the front deck of the boat (felt like celebrities!). We pulled up to the dock at Lo Scoglio as the sun went down and enjoyed a leisurely dinner there. The evening plans were filled with delicious fresh local fish and sinful carb-laden bread, pasta with famous Italian gelato for dessert. well, the eating was not a problem but the rain poured down! AND thank God it did as it forced us off the beach and into the charm of Italy. Meet Marco Predieri(see photo). Tour guide, artist, owner of the company Off The Beaten Path! (Side Note: think synonymously: As "the most interesting man in the world" is to Dos Equis, Marco would be the brand/face for Italy"s Peroni or Moretti!) When beaches and shopping seem to be just scratching the surface of the amazing Positano and you want more or something different... call Marco Predieri. He was a wonderful, knowledgable tour guide! He knows the Amalfi Coast inside and out! He speaks perfect English and he is a walking history book. He will take the time to understand your needs and help you custom plan your itinerary. We had the great surprise of engaging in a few tours he offered that were literally off the charts. We went on amazing hikes seeing ancient waterfalls thru acres of pristine lemon groves. We took a cooking class in the kitchen of a gorgeous restaurant-side by side with the master chef. We went on a private boat tour along the Amalfi Coast with detours to cave dive and eat in a hidden gem of a fishing town. My only regret was there was not enough time to see and do all the wonderful tours he recommended. Marco makes you feel like a friend who has come to visit Italy for the first time and he wants to show you what you may not otherwise get to see. We felt like we were being escorted thru the town with an old friend who introduced us to his home and friends. The experience was a dream come true!

They pulled this stunt on us and canceled the morning of our tour with all other operators still running. Pure scam and dishonest people. Communication was very prompt from both Alessandro and Emily considering that they are touring all the time with tourist. You can contact them directly or via social media. They were very reasonable when it came to private boat tours and flexible with locations. One the day of pick up, everything was coordinated very well. The boat arrived on time and we got picked up at Amalfi and we took the tour all the way to Capri. Our kipper Enriqo was excellent and provided us with fruits and champagne on board and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time. They were very nice and easy to chat with and we had our own privacy as well. The boat made multiple stops and customized it based on where we wanted to go depending on the time of the day. My one challenge was that I was trying to get a confirmation email from them about booking my trip but I didn't receive that for weeks despite providing multiple reminders. Having said that, I do understand that they keep busy but I also value commitments. Overall a great experience! And I highly recommend Sea living (check out more of their reviews in trip advisor and Airbnb). One of the best in the Amalfi Coast!!

We scheduled a boat tour with Grassi Junior and were very disappointed. It was more transportation…read morethan a tour per sei. We might as well to have caught a water taxi, as it would be a better value. The captain dropped us off at the Capri harbor without telling us a bit of the island. We did not have any clue the center of the city was way up on the a hill and wasted a lot of time at the pier. We finally realized that the real Capri was at the top of the island and were able to enjoy the surroundings a bit. To make a long story short, we caught a taxi that would not take credit card and delayed us in our way back to the boat, which had left us behind only 2 minutes after the scheduled. 2 MINUTES. NOT 3 NOR 4! Fortunately we started yelling and the captain returned to get us! This company is offering a tourism package. It is beyond my understanding how you can be in the hospitality industry and not make an effort towards customer service. Not offer an app, nor a pamphlet, or just a recorded message with the highlights of the visit to the Island. A TAXI NOT A TOUR experience!
