There are many options in boats to take you to Capri from Positano, along the Amalfi Coast or to…read morethe islands nearby, but Lucibello is the best! If you are looking for an almost private boating experience, look no further. While a little more expensive than the other places lined up and down the beach, what made my mind up was that there would only be 10-12 people on our boat. The cost to Capril was $70 a person for the day and know that they bring towels and beverages so all you need to do is come prepared to enjoy a great day out on the water (wear your swim suit and you can swim right off the boat!) The boat leaves Positano around 9am on most days. They show you a range of sights along the way to Capri like the white grotto, the green grotto, the lighthouse, Villa Malaparte and you get off the boat at Marina Grande. You then have about 3 hours on the island before returning back to Positano. There is a stop both on the way there and on the way back to swim off the boat and enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean! A wonderful way to see the Amalfi Coast- this was one of my favorite days of my entire trip!

He picked us up at the dock in Positano shortly before sunset. We had a short sunset cruise before dinner while he told us about some of the local area and we chatted about our lives. We were able to sit on the couch on the front deck of the boat (felt like celebrities!). We pulled up to the dock at Lo Scoglio as the sun went down and enjoyed a leisurely dinner there. (Side Note: think synonymously: As "the most interesting man in the world" is to Dos Equis, Marco would be the brand/face for Italy"s Peroni or Moretti!) When beaches and shopping seem to be just scratching the surface of the amazing Positano and you want more or something different... call Marco Predieri. He was a wonderful, knowledgable tour guide! He knows the Amalfi Coast inside and out! He speaks perfect English and he is a walking history book. He will take the time to understand your needs and help you custom plan your itinerary. We had the great surprise of engaging in a few tours he offered that were literally off the charts. We went on amazing hikes seeing ancient waterfalls thru acres of pristine lemon groves. We took a cooking class in the kitchen of a gorgeous restaurant-side by side with the master chef. We went on a private boat tour along the Amalfi Coast with detours to cave dive and eat in a hidden gem of a fishing town. My only regret was there was not enough time to see and do all the wonderful tours he recommended. Marco makes you feel like a friend who has come to visit Italy for the first time and he wants to show you what you may not otherwise get to see. We felt like we were being escorted thru the town with an old friend who introduced us to his home and friends. The experience was a dream come true!

They will take your deposit, cancel on you, and then ignore you. Their excuse afterwards is that the refund is not in their control so they will ignore you and refuse to provide proof that they processed your refund. They pulled this stunt on us and canceled the morning of our tour with all other operators still running. Pure scam and dishonest people. This makes it clear why they do not have a booth right on Positano beach. FIND A DIFFERENT BUSINESS.

Communication was very prompt from both Alessandro and Emily considering that they are touring all the time with tourist. You can contact them directly or via social media. They were very reasonable when it came to private boat tours and flexible with locations. One the day of pick up, everything was coordinated very well. The boat arrived on time and we got picked up at Amalfi and we took the tour all the way to Capri. Our kipper Enriqo was excellent and provided us with fruits and champagne on board and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time. They were very nice and easy to chat with and we had our own privacy as well. The boat made multiple stops and customized it based on where we wanted to go depending on the time of the day. My one challenge was that I was trying to get a confirmation email from them about booking my trip but I didn't receive that for weeks despite providing multiple reminders. Having said that, I do understand that they keep busy but I also value commitments. Overall a great experience! And I highly recommend Sea living (check out more of their reviews in trip advisor and Airbnb). One of the best in the Amalfi Coast!!
