I was a little bit disappointed that we weren't on a sail boat, but I have to say that besides that one (mostly aesthetic) pitfall, Cassiopea exceeded all of my hopes, dreams, and expectations of a boat tour to Capri. The tour was set up by our hotel, and upon arrival at the dock at 9AM, we were greeted by the super friendly staff of Cassiopea, and got to know our fellow boat-mates. The captain was super knowledgable, and while his english wasn't great, he made an excellent tour guide, taking us to grottos and rock formations off the beaten path from most of the big tour boats. We had the option to do the blue grotto but he encouraged us not to, and took us to a similar, but less touristy, location with a similar blue effect. If I'd been hell-bent on it I might have been bummed, but honestly, he saved us time and money. This tour goes to Marina Piccolo, not Marina Grande, which gives you a much more relaxing entry into the crazy tourist zone of Capri. You can easily get up to Ana Capri by bus or taxi, and the tour gives you plenty of time to have lunch, go for a swim, and grab a gelato at the top. read more
