They made sure everything was the way we wanted and they worked very hard to ensure that happened, despite last minute changes due the unforeseen weather! They worked with the Villa Cimbrone staff to ensure the events happened smoothly, seamlessly, and without a glitch! They communicated with the venue and all the vendors for us. Not a detail was missed - everything was beautifully decorated, from the flowers to the lights, lemons and limencellos at each plate setting. Truly, they helped to make our dream wedding a reality!

As my…read morewedding date was approaching the stress began to mound and I decided that I needed some local help with vendors as well as on-site assistance the day of the wedding. The wedding coordinators that my venue put me in touch with were not my cup of tea, sort of rude/snotty and very overpriced. I did some research and reached out to a few coordinators myself. I came across Rosaria and Angela from Ravello events via Instagram. I reached out to them via e-mail and they responded immediately, they were so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating, I really felt that I had found my dream team. They have an amazing Rolodex of local vendors. I am extremely extremely particular, so when I did not like a vendor, they had many others to offer. Once we arrived in Italy for the wedding we met with them in person and went over all details. Rosaria and Angela were even more wonderful, warm and professional in person, we had an instant connection. They are so organized and professional, I felt completely confident putting my most special day in their hands. The day of my wedding they set-up all of items I brought with me (5 large suitcases), was the point of contact for all of the vendors, knew exactly how I wanted everything and was the liaison between me and everyone else that day. It alleviated a lot of stress that I did not have to be in the garden directing people, I knew I was in good hands. Our wedding turned out absolutely PERFECT thanks to the amazing work of these ladies and their foresight and experience. There is not one thing that went wrong and not one thing that I would have changed. I would highly recommend Ravello Events if you are having a wedding or special event in the area, even if you do not think you need one, it is absolutely worth it.

Fiori Sorrento is a family-owned florist shop located in downtown Sorrento, Italy. Since I was planning my destination wedding from afar, my Airbnb host and local Italian recommended this shop and florist, Giuseppe Terrecuso. I started by sending Giuseppe an email (fiorisorrento@virgilio.it) with pictures from Pinterest of the types of flower arrangements I liked. Giuseppe easily communicated with me in English and he was very responsive, which made me feel at ease since I was planning my wedding from across the Atlantic Ocean and I had a tight timeline of two months. Little did I know that Giuseppe would be able to compose exact replicas of the intricate floral arrangements I sent pictures of - especially since I was ordering things that were more "outside of the box," like floral crowns. I ordered an array of floral head pieces, bridal bouquets, boutonnières, hanging balls of baby's breath, flower pedals to throw instead of ride, and floral table runners. Giuseppe delivered the flowers with no delivery fee, and even waited over an hour outside of the home when he couldn't reach me. He went above and beyond to give me even more flowers than I had asked for and could dream of, and his prices were very affordable. Giuseppe was also happy to accommodate my request to pay via direct deposit, since I didn't want to carry a lot of euros on me while traveling abroad. Overall, I would give Fiori Sorrento a 100% rating, and would highly recommend this business to anyone looking for floral arrangements for any occasion.

I booked and paid for my wedding flowers last year. I was impressed by the prices: €15 per rustic…read morejar with ribbons and a mix of cream and pink flowers (I had sent them pictures of what sort of thing I wanted) and €20 for some flowers for my hair (again i sent them a picture). They emailed me on the 24th of August to remind me they would be coming early in the morning to my hotel on the 11th of September to deliver my flowers. The morning came, I had decorated the tables but was just waiting on the flowers, I had to go and have my hair and make-up done and they still hadn't arrived so I emailed them to ask what time they would be there, no reply. I went to my room for hair and make-up and had my family keep checking if they were there. My hair was finished and just needed the flowers to finish the look, still nothing had arrived and my hairdresser had to leave, he had to tell my makeup artist how to do it for when they arrived. I was starting to get stressed out at this point! The photographer called them for me....turns out they had FORGOT about my flowers on my special day :( So I was to go with no flowers in my hair has I had visualized for the last 5 years! I was very distressed and upset. They bought me some flowers for the table but they are NOT rustic jars with ribbons and cream and pink flowers, they were clear vases with random white and green in them. Looked ok but not what I'd dreamed of at all. This is not on, I was so upset and they are refusing to refund or compensate anything to me! They are now ignoring my emails and messages! So unprofessional and out of order, my photos make my hair look plain and boring, I have these as my memories forever and I'll never forget what I wanted and what these photos should have looked like. Thank God my ceremony venue supplied my bouquet!!! Avoid, avoid, avoid!!! Spoilt my special day:(
