We were only in Wassenaar for about 19 hours visiting some friends and found ourselves at Luciano's twice. The ice cream is SO good! Very creamy, more like gelato. I tried after eight and the lemon key lime pie, both so good and satisfying. The bf loved the milk chocolate, especially because they put real chocolate pieces inside. I appreciated their prices and the sizes of the scoops. Unlike the U.S., both were very reasonable! Just get there with plenty of time, the whole town can be out there and the line gets long quick! read more

My family are regular customers here, we come so often the staff recognizes us. Superb ice cream. We've had the Tony's Chocolonely, Pistachio, Hazelnut, After Eight, Chocolate, and Strawberry flavors. All are delicious. In addition, there are some very good coffee and hot chocolates here. I love that the coffees come with a complimentary mini ice cream cone! Try the hot chocolate melts to take home - solid chocolates with various toppings on a stick, meant to melt into hot milk.
