The donuts were warm, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Paired with hot apple cider it's a classic fall treat. Don't skip the apple fritters which are sweet, crispy, and loaded with flavor. As for the fun activities: Pedal cars are at the top of the list & turned into a full on race for the kids The corn maze and tree maze were cleverly designed. Both fun and challenging enough. So many pumpkins to pick from & you can borrow one of the wagons near the entrance to tote your pumpkins/belongings around The animals were a hit with the younger kids. Super cute and well cared for. Tons of games, hoops, and activities to keep everyone busy. The café had great snacks and drinks when we needed a break The jump trampoline and zip lines added a burst of energy and adventure to our visit and a hit!!! There's truly something here for everyone from toddlers to grandparents. We left with full hearts (and a dozen donuts). However, the woman at the front desk in the gift shop was rude. She was annoyed that we wanted to purchase a tree late in the day (we called to make sure it was OK to arrive at 4:30pm before we arrived). She made a comment about "the next time someone calls about coming in at 5pm I'm telling them no" right in front of us. We usually purchase items from the gift shop in addition to the tree but, after that encounter, we left without shopping (loss on their part as we normally spend $100-$200 in the gift shop). We'll have to consider whether or not we return next year for a tree or go somewhere else.

If I was more patient, we could have waited for them to pick the tree up with an atv and trailer, but I opted to drag it out. They provide saws, and all trees are one price, and much lower than many of the places around, under 40 bucks! For $2 more, they will send your tree through a bailer for easier transport and bringing it inside. I even saw them tie one to the roof for another family. The owners and family are quite knowledgeable and will offer to show you a specific variety of tree and sends you on your way with excellent instructions to make sure your tree lasts the duration. Today my kid lost her white stuffed rabbit in the snow and was inconsolable with grief -- these folks put up signs and kept an eye out and got Bunny home for bed, thereby saving Christmas. Their patrons also walk up and down the middle of the road as if they were in a parking lot in the yellow obscenities that people trying to drive through and go about their business.
