It was smothered in a mushroom sauce and coupled with garlic noodles. The risotto was delicious, made from whole brown grain and was cheesy and flavorful. It included two stems of asparagus wrapped in pancetta which was also quite delicious and topped with a sunny-side up egg. It went well with a glass of pear champagne. This place, along with most of the restaurants in Leblon is pricy but you do get good quality food. Service was fine and on a cool night, it's nice to sit outside and dine al fresco.

On the bright side, that was pretty much the only negative part of my experience here. I opted for a glass of wine and filet stuffed with Brie cheese. Their selection of wines by the glass wasn't huge, the the red wine I selected from Spain was flavorful and a nice accompaniment for the steak. As for the meat, the dish was delicious. I've never had steak stuffed with anything really, so the idea of filling it with Brie caught my attention. It was just the right amount and gave the steak, which would have been great on its own, even more appeal. The restaurant does end up a little on the pricy side, but for this part of Leblon and marketed as a fancy Italian place, that shouldn't come as a surprise. Worth the trip, even if they don't always have everything they advertise.

The crispy cheese bowl was delicious and made a nice cup for a bit of salad plated next to a ham and cheese omelet which was quite tasty with just enough cheese. The specials of the day included a Gorgonzola risotto with filé mignon and grilled onions which was well made and should be added to the regular menu. Of course the best way to finish the meal is with my all time favorite coffee milkshake. Other coffee shops might make them, but I found that this one tastes the best. They ranged from harder to softer cheese each quite distinct. It was accompanied by some bread that also had good flavor to it. We tried each of the 6 different types of bruschetta: goat cheese with fig and honey, classic with tomato and basil, mushroom with melted Brie, shredded duck, gorgonzola with arugula and nuts. They had a bean one but later told us they were out so we doubled up on the classic. All were impressively good with decent bread. I would say there are better then Prima. The bolinhos arancini we tried were also decent, one with shrimp another with meat and the third with mushroom. The caipirinhas here are good too and they have my favorite cachaça, Leblon.

When we first walked in we were able to be seated right away even though this place is very packed with people in the other simply amazed we were able to get a spot. This is my second time here and both times have been great I would highly recommend it to the other yelpers. The whiskey caskets they seep them in really intensifies the flavor. This has to be my favorite Noi beer, though it only comes in bottle, not on tap. We tried a variety of food as well, such as the bruschetta, chicken strips, salad and chicken sausage. The bruschetta is usually delicious and comes with several pieces which is great for sharing. The frango crocante, is like chicken strips with a sweet mustard sauce, which is also idea for sharing. The arugula salad was topped with a light dressing and sun-dried tomatoes with a fist-size of mozzarella (huge!) and a mound of Parmesan bread- very filling. The chicken sausage was a huge plate with the chicken sausage coiled under a pile of potatoes. It is only for the truly hungry! All the food was great and service was good too. Definitely will be back.
