Unfortunately I couldn't put off having my wisdom teeth removed any longer and was dreading it. Honestly I would have NEVER had my wisdom teeth extracted especially after two of my friends informed me of their subsequent extreme pain for 4 days which apparently is quite common. Side note: they had their extractions w/ different dentists. If I had known this guy was a miracle worker I would've done this procedure a lot sooner. FYI, I don't have a high threshold for pain and to my pleasant surprise I had absolutely ZERO pain. The next day I had slight discomfort and a little swelling but absolutely no pain and that's what I was dreading every morning when I woke up. I cannot thank Dr Hosseini and his incredible staff for a wonderful experience for something that is commonly associated with pure pain. I'm still in shock that I had zero pain but this dentist has a loyal patient in me for life.

But I am relieved to have been referred here to Dr. Rose Angelakis. Be warned - it is a Pediatric Dentist but also an adult Orthodontist. The staff here are excellent, welcoming, and kind. They calmly and thoroughly explain the entire process including payment options. They offer braces as well as aligners. They make everything convenient for you. This is not a "HIPPA request;" all businesses must comply with OSHA regulations, and healthcare providers are yearly required to receive vaccinations so that they do not pass along illnesses (the flu, hepatitus, etc.) to their patients. Broward Family Dental Care's *refusal* to answer this question means that they may now be falling outside of OSHA requirements, which means that if they accept *any* money from Medicaid/Medicare, Medicaid/Medicare can *refuse* to pay claims, and the office can be fined and even closed if they are not OSHA compliant. If someone won't answer if they *are* OSHA compliant, it would seem to me they are saying they are *not*. Caveat Emptor

Hadn't been in an embarrassingly long time - measured in years. But no one there lectured me or even cared other than to say well now you're here so let's get everything back on track! In my view everything in my treatment plan is appropriate and necessary for where my teeth are after not seeing the dentist in a while. Charges are reasonable and they accept my insurance. Pretty much left me and my wife with an ultimatum. "Do what we recommended or you can go somewhere else". On top of that they want to charge thousands of dollars just to fill some cavities. I left an after-hours voicemail fully expecting to hear back after the new year, but to my surprise, Dr. Birns called me 2 days later on a Sunday afternoon. She had just returned from vacation, was checking messages, and managed to fit me in that following Monday. I couldn't believe my luck and jumped on the appointment immediately. Her office staff was wonderful, and Dr. Birns is absolutely superb. She smoothed the tooth, placed a temporary crown, and sent me on my way. A little over a week later, I returned for my permanent crown, and everything was perfect. I highly recommend Dr. Birns--she's funny, knowledgeable, and truly caring. I sincerely hope she has no plans of retiring anytime soon because she's officially my dentist going forward.
