On my first visit, I could barely turn my head to check my blind spots while driving. I walked out feeling so much better, and my normal range of motion returned in a month. Now, nearly a year later, I still see Dr. Marion for my migraines, and he's helped them tremendously. Whenever I do have a migraine, his adjustments make them all but disappear within 15 minutes. And with regular adjustments, they've been so much less frequent. The saturation of…read morechiropractors in this part of town is wildly overwhelming, so I did what any normal person would do: I chose the one nearest to my apartment. And I got lucky. I've been treated by a few chiropractors over the past 8 years or so, and Dr. Mitch is by far the most thorough. On my first visit, I expected a swift neck adjustment and a few hefty taps with the activator to tide me over until the pain came back, which is what my previous chiropractor always did. My experience here was quite different. The initial consultation was excellent -- the office was quiet and there were no other patients looming, so I had the doctor's full attention. He asked me where the pain was, what it felt like, how often it was happening, whether anything I did made it better or worse, how bad it got when it was at its worst, what it felt like now, etc. He also asked whether I was comfortable with having neck adjustments. I felt like he really took the time to understand the issues rather than just slapping on a Band-Aid and shoving me out the door. Next, he took me into an adjustment room where I spent a blissful few minutes with a heat pad on my back. His adjustments (at least, in my case) were manual, and he spent a lot of time before the adjustments determining where my ribs (and everything else) were lining up. Afterward, he helped me with some stretches. I was really impressed with the amount of care, attention and time he afforded me. Remarkably, unlike my previous chiropractors, Dr. Mitch didn't "recommend" that I come back three times a week for six months or any other ridiculousness for people with infinite time and money. Instead, he helped me to narrow down the likely root cause of my head/neck/shoulder pain and suggested modifying my posture SO THAT I WOULDN'T NEED TO COME IN AS OFTEN. He didn't pressure me to make another appointment or offer anything unnecessary. Dr. Mitch's greatest asset, though, is that he's a great communicator, both in terms of the treatment he provides and in general. I don't think I've ever had so much fun hanging out in a doctor's office. It was like spending time with a friend. I can recommend Optimal Health to anyone who wants thorough, friendly and effective treatment without the scare tactics that other chiropractors use in order to siphon your money.

He typically can take me within a day or two of me calling (sometimes even same day if I call in the morning or if there's a cancellation). His German Shephard, Bear, will typically be there to greet you. If you're allergic or don't like dogs, however, he has a separate room which is dog and incense free. Compared to my other chiropractor in the suburbs, Dr. McManus offers a very unique approach to chiropractic care. He is friendly, intelligent, and diligent in his care. He only sees one patient at a time, spending at least 20 minutes with you on a typical visit, more if needed. Instead of trying to push you to buy a whole bunch of vitamins, orthodics, or other unnecessary products, Dr. McManus offers sound advice and treatment. I can't recommend him enough for his sound, logical explanations, excellent advice on how to prevent future injuries, and amazing treatment.

It's much more of a physical therapy and massage/movement session that lasts for 30 minutes and not only feels incredible but gives you fantastic benefits for days after. Dr. Riederer also specializes in Dry Needling. The dry needling produces incredible results...He gets into those trigger points and works out those deep seated knots. Beyond being a super nice guy, he's got a ton of knowledge and skills. Can't recommend enough!!
